Hey ya'll, it's the spooky month. I was deeply engrossed in playing Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, i beat it a few days ago and now I'm working on 100% achivements! I do want to draw some fan art when the time is right.

I'm super happy i finally wrapped up the Xen Alyx commission as it was a long time coming and I'm very happy with the result. It's only going to get real busier up until the beginning of December.

Drew some more of my OC, SniperGal + wanted to get some beta alyx drawings out of my system.

This weekend, I'll be tabling at Erie Con, another local pop culture con in my area. It's saturday only and I have never heard of this con before so I am curious how it will pan out.
I don't remember if i ever spoke much of this but, I am having a new body of work displayed at a local coffee shop in my area, Ember + Forge. The work will be up for the duration of December and pieces will be available for purchase. I am fortunate to be recieving matting and framing generously donation through a local framing gallery, so the pieces should look real nice! The opportunity for the show wouldn't be possible if it weren't for the great people at Erie Arts + Culture!

Before I get into more about the show, just some light hearted things worth mentioning!
I feel way less anxious and stressed about my health. i've been going to the gym on a 4 day split and i feel great. I have some minor issues going on with my abdomen, to be very vague, i won't get into it but it's being monitored.
I bought some new materials! trying out dip pens again just for fun and get myself to work on paper again and in prep for my show! I've done most of my traditional work with my trusty LAMY Safari but i wanted to try something with a little more line variation.
I have felt the least concern about likes and followers in a long time. I am much more focused on the quality of my work than the quantity of it. A lot of things i do now are more long-term focused but i still want to grow so I am working on uploading more shorts + videos to YouTube + TikTok for growth. I would appreciate if you checked them out (and help me get to 1k subs on YT so I can monetize)
The show has been in the works since the spring and I’m very exciting to have a body of new, original work up for the duration of December. There’s not a whole lot of details honestly. It wil be displayed throughout the month of december and pieces will be availble to purchase. Still figuring out a title. I might make a little PDF catalog of the piece for those who can’t come see the pieces in person. I still have much work to do, sketching, inking, framing, promoting, etc. I’m pretty excited to not just have my first show but, allowing myself to do whatever, literally anything, this whole thing is for me. I really feel like i’m starting to tap further into myself as an artist and discovering what i want to want to make has been quite a positive feeling. I’ve drawn a lot fan art over the course of my life and for some time now, i’ve really felt the desire to put the fan art to the side for personal work and self expression. I really challenged and looked to myself to create and just have fun.
As for VANCE SUBPRIME, I am still working on it and committed to finishing it but i don't see it releasing this year. Between the temp part-time job and the debacle on that, the upcoming art show and some bad mental health months, work was slow. Sorry ya'll!
