so i think im done with this gif. it was an experiment (and for Dr. Xing herself..)
After spending several hours on the rough, getting some headway on the tie down animation, Procreate Dreams, specifically, just wiped all my clean up. thankfully, i had worked on the rough in Procreate proper so i was still able to salvage that part of the work but man it was rough. i had to take a few days away from it bc i was so upset, i even debated just canceling but i have a hard time giving up/

after the loss, i tried to use the rough gif i saved and posted here and continue where i left off. then i decided, instead of doing a clean pass, i will just go straight into inks from the rough to save time, all in Procreate, not Dreams, as it still seems to be unstable, or at least less so than Procreate. Not the best but im pleased with it and will help me go forward with other animation projects. i think i just lost some steam finishing it and i kinda got to a point where the loss made me exhausted to look at it. this style very much inspired by how robert valley animates, lots of pushing and pulling and warping of finished line work.

yea i dont trust Procreate Dreams, save your shit to your cloud if you're going to.
