sketch dump - marathon, beta gordon, prop studies..
Added 2025-04-22 18:00:10 +0000 UTCI really want to increase my confidence in my lines and choices as they become permanent and increase my visual library. So I was thinking of a system where I use ink for doing warm-up/fun drawing/studying/thumbnails in my sketchbook. For anything where I have I have to make a finished drawing for something, someone, or myself, I can go back with my pencils and eraser and use my iPad for my usual process. sometimes using my iPad feels like I have to make finished work and always having access to an eraser in doesn't feel like I can actually study and explore.
I've been Marathon pilled since the reveal cinematic despite not having received an alpha code yet, so I have to live vicariously through drawing the runners and Blackbird's design and kit mostly appeals to me. some prop studies of mod chairs and astronaut helmets for a dr. xing illustration. and we have a beta gordon as I am slowly chipping away at designing his suit. its starting to take shape but im not ready to show it yet.
