Blog: Caramel Has Minnie Ears + Snow Day!

Hello my little Gumdrop! 🥰

In today’s blog I’ll talk about my progress with pre-trip preparations and some things going on in my life. So, I won’t lie I’ve been a little stressed out lately. Like I’ve mentioned on social media anxiety from high stress usually induces nightmares for me. Sleep has been tough so I’ve been drinking a lot of matcha tea to compensate. 😅 🍵 But it’ll be worth it! I have so many ideas for content to take the few days I’m there and I hope I’ll be able to deliver some amazing videos and photos for you. 💕

Preparation wise I bought some sunscreen (just in case), and ponchos in the odd event I bring rain to California again. ☔️ I’ve kept the receipt in case I don’t use them! Today, I made some Minnie ears for Caramel to match my Aurora ones. She looks super cute with them, I hope she’ll be easy to carry around the park. We shall see! 🐰

I was overly planning the days out for the trip and I threw it all out today. I’ve decided to just follow the “Disney winds” or just do what feels right. Of course I want to get my first visit button and go to the trading post to see if the limited edition pins I want are still in stock. But! Other than that and our Oga’s Cantina reservations what we do is now up to the “Disney wind”. Let’s see what lies (just beyond the river bend). ✨

Personal wise, I’ve been watching a lot of journaling videos for inspiration for my own journal. Can I recommend a YouTube channel for you all? One of my favorite journaling channels right now is rainbowholicTV, Japan has so much nice stationary it makes me so inspired! I’ll show you some more of my journaling soon.

While my eldest brother was getting his eyebrows threaded I popped in next door to the craft store to look for stationary for my journals! I’m limited on funds right now so I only bought a few pieces of decorative paper $2.11 total for everything. Maybe I’ll use some of these for my Disney travel journal! ✈️💕🏰

This morning it actually SNOWED in the desert! I was shocked we rarely get snow here and in February is almost unheard of. It was already feeling like spring here but, I love snow. 💗 So, I threw on some warm clothes quickly and eagerly went outside to enjoy the cold weather with my husky. She was so excited! Huskies love cold weather and snow they are bred for it! ❄️ 🐺

I also thrifted this palace pets build a bear cat today! It’s name is Beauty and is owned by Princess Aurora. Which is suiting for me considering I’ve fallen in love with Sleeping Beauty. My brother ended up buying her for me! I also found some clothes for plushies there for about $3.

(On our way home, I gave her a good wash and she’s currently drying.)

In the late afternoon my middle brother and I went to our favorite tea “bar” and I got some Black Rose tea. Nice and hot tea to end my day. ☕️ We also picked up “The Child” pin from Box Lunch that we ordered a few weeks back on our way home. It’s much bigger in person than I expected, I adore it! 🤍
