Blog: Disneyland Day 2 Part 5 - Building My Dream SITH Lightsaber

As the sun begun to set in Batuu we got checked in for our secret light saber building at Savvi's Workshop. Also know as "scrap metal" a code word to avoid the First Order interference. We were in group "black" and I was given a cool rose gold pin with a white lightsaber on it to show I was in the protection and defense group of scrap metal.
They placed my scrap metal on the table in front of me and I got to choose which parts I wanted on the hilt of my saber. But at first I picked my kyber crystal, red of course! For me if I was in that universe I know my crystal would've "bled" because I've gone through some pretty awful mental health issues. So I embrace the fact I'd have a red crystal.
Once assembled we all got to activate our sabers together using some "technology" and held them up proudly. I was one of the two people in the room who had a red saber and honestly it was magical. Having a red saber meant the Batuuians (cast members) around Batuu reacted to the color of my saber a lot. Lots of gasps or moving out of the way for me. I loved it haha
After we built our sabers we heading to Docking Bay 7 again for dinner, which was probably one of my favorite experiences we had.. in the next blog!
