You've got to remember that he spent Millennia suppressing not only his Angelic side but also his feelings. 2. Don't forget that Chloe hurt him deeply in Season 4 and I don't think he's completely gotten over that just yet, However the guy really doesn't lie,and he not only said " I do of course I do" at the end of this first half but he also said " Eve was never my first love, It was you Chloe, It's always been you" at the end of Season 4. Anyway thats how I see it🤔I think lol
