August 2022 - Patreon Update!

As the image above states, I intend to change a few things around with my Patreon set up from the start of September.


Tier price reductions
To increase value and entice a few more people onto the Executive Member Tier I've decided to reduce the cost from the current $43 down to $30 per month.
You will still get 500 credits each month on this tier.

I'm also going to reduce the Faculty Member Tier down from $13 to $10 per month.
You will still get 100 credits each month at this level.
The Fan and Class Member Tiers will stay the same.

Charge upfront billing
The biggest change will be the move to charging up front, a feature that was initially unavailable when I first set up my Patreon back in mid January.
To quote Patreon this means that...
"New patrons will be charged the day they become a patron, then on the 1st of the month going forward."

So for existing Patrons not much will change, but it will mean that new Patrons won't have to wait until the end of the month to get their credits.
I'll still be processing the majority of credit allocations at the start of each month, but new patrons will get their credits added as soon as they pledge.
This will avoid that agonizing wait for credits that some of you will have experienced.

New Annual Membership Tier
The move to upfront billing will also allow me to enable a Tier for Annual Membership.
This will be set at $360 and will give you 10,000 credits as a lump sum.
That should be more than enough credits to unlock everything in all the currently planned fifteen chapters.

Double Credits for August!
In advance of the changes to the tiers, I'll be doubling everybody's credit allocations for pledges made in August.
At the start of September when payments have been processed, everyone who is on the Executive Member Tier will get 1000 credits, and everyone on the Faculty Member Tier will get 200 credits.
The billing cost won't reduce for August but your credits will be multiplied.

Any pledges made after August 31st will be on the new lower pricing structure.
This should be a great way to boost the credits in your account in advance of Chapters Five and Six...
