Problem in chair, not in computer...

I guess you call the last few days a bit of a challenge.

In my attempts to speed up the process of launching the new chapters, I took on some additional technical access to the website.
This had previously been cautiously guarded by my developing partner, and probably for good reason...

Now I can directly access, modify and upload pretty much anything on the dsp3000.games server.
Mostly that's been great. I can correct minor grammatical errors, upload new images and generally agonize over the tiniest of details to my heart's content.
In general, it's has been a huge progression.
I'm also beginning to understand all sorts of things like GIT repos, json arrays and obfuscated coding strings.

However, with great power comes great responsibility. What one must never do is inadvertently over-write some nicely crafted code which handles key bits of functionality.
Coders get really pissed off when you do that.

My big fat fingers have caused a few issues over the last few days including problems with games saving, names displaying correctly and a couple of other less obvious technical gremlins.

I apologize to anyone who has been affected, but mostly I apologize to my very patient developer. It's taken a few days to untangle the mess I created.
I guess I should just stick to the creative stuff...

We have established some protocols to avoid any repeat of this in future.

Chapters Three and Four release dates
Chapter Three will be in beta testing this week with the aim of launching early next week.
That's the week commencing 21st June.
Chapter Three has just one new scene added since the original release so is one of the more modest updates in the series.
It covers Tuesday morning.

Chapter Four on the other hand has grown enormously. All the sex scenes have been expanded with most of the images having undergone the remake process.
There is also a huge new bonus scene at the end of the day.
It will go into beta testing shortly after Chapter Three, and I suspect the release date will be either right at the end of June or very early July.

Other progress  
While not breaking the website, I've completed the pre-testing work on Chapter Five and finishing off the last batches of image remakes for Chapter Six.
(Five and Six cover the events which take place on Wednesday)

I've also recently completed the initial restructure of Chapters Nine, Ten, Eleven, Twelve and Thirteen.
These are the updated 'Date with Bridgette' episodes as well as a completely new chapter.
The first four of those chapters have been massively expanded with an alternative pathway/pathways through each.
Chapter Thirteen is a completely new episode which also offers another parallel pathway to what you can otherwise do with Bridgette.
In other words, you can play the 'Date with Bridgette' chapters without actually going on a date with Bridgette.

I've said it before and I'll say it again... Forget everything you think you know about the  Academy.
This is a whole new era!
