Happy New Year

Although I've found a little spare time to continue with some work over the past couple of weeks, today has been the first full day I've been able to focus on the Academy project for a while.
It's been a bit of a relief to be back in front of my computer without the distractions and obligations that this time of year brings with it.

I've processed all the credit allocations due at the end of December and the start of January, and generally kept on top of most of my admin tasks.

Today though has been more creative and very productive. I'm optimistic about what's coming next.

Firstly, I'm completing work on the remainder of Chapter 13.
As previously mentioned, it's one of the biggest chapters in the series so far and restructuring the scoring and achievements to fit in with the new chapters has been complicated.
But it's nearly ready now. I anticipate this being completed for release by around mid January.

I have been very tempted to add some more new scenes and material, and may still do so in the future.
For now though I'm wrapping up what needs to be completed first and building in a couple of future expansion points to return to.

The main focus this year will of course be in releasing the brand new chapters to continue the story into Friday.
I have three chapters planned which will cover the last weekday at the Goodhead Academy.
Chapter 14 will naturally come first and will take place on Friday morning.

There will be a lot of parallell and connected storylines to cover and the main narrative thread to conclude throughout Friday.
Having spent the last few years working on a suitable climax to the series, I'm happy with what I have so far produced and what I have planned.
