Comics, Folios, etc.
Added 2015-10-23 21:34:29 +0000 UTCI mentioned not long ago that I was working on a comic of my tanuki girl but after that recent deposit scare, I don't know if that's the direction I want to go in right now. I should probably start pursuing projects that I know my fanbase wants, right? I can't just keep chasing projects that I specifically want, it isn't the best business decision for me in the long-term.
So with that said, I've been thinking of putting out a Mango Folio. I'm itching to draw her more lately and if it'll appease my audience more, that's a win-win. If it goes over well, maybe a Mango Comic could eventually happen? Who knows??
Just sorta thinking aloud. I'd like to keep you guys updated so that if anything changes, no one winds up surprised or upset.
And speaking of updates, you can expect the Finish The Sketch // Octavia Paizuri and a Daisy x Peach x Bowser commission to close out this month, whoo! (ﾉ´ヮ´)ﾉ

Does that mean you'll be getting content I don't want to make? Never! While I would prefer my original plan, it's not like I'm killing myself over this Mango Folio. The Rina stuff will come eventually, as will any content I want to make. It's just a matter of priority.

2015-10-24 22:14:05 +0000 UTCI agree with Rodney in that there is absolutely nothing wrong in my book with you following what you want with your art, or rather that if I was given the choice between having you follow what you want to draw and what your fanbase desires, I'd go for the former for certain. If only because I fear that over-prioritising your audience's desires might lead to you being massively dissatisfied with what you're 'being made to draw', with no creative freedom of your own. Ultimately, I follow and support you happily because you're a good artist who deserves it, not because I think you should answer only to your patrons. :p granted, there is a tacit agreement when money is involved, but IMO it's pretty damn important to have 'job satisfaction', right? That said, if you do want to draw more Mango anyway, I for one would absolutely love that, as long as it would net you said enjoyment of your own work. What's more, a comic might not only be super sexy, but I for one would love to see that expanding on some kind of character/context for Mango herself, which might make her more well developed besides just being as physically cute and sexy as she is anyway. :D

I follow you and try to support you because I think your art and art style are amazing, and wish to see you continue putting more pics and masterpieces out there! I'll say it, -uhh, TYPE it, right here that I don't want to dictate what you draw. I just want to support you.
