Patron Events

When you're submitting your information, please PLEASE put in your actual Patron username. If I can't find your name in the Patron Manager, then you either used a different name or you're not a Patron. In either case, I'll have to exclude the submission.

(I should also note I personally screwed that up on my Google Form submission and used the Patreon URL, so if you don't mind fixing it I would appreciate that. Thank you <3)

2016-01-03 06:44:07 +0000 UTCAh okay, well considering they're right next to each other, and neither is named "Username", I can see how there would be a lot of confusion about that: <a href="https://i.imgur.com/o5ubfRf.png" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://i.imgur.com/o5ubfRf.png</a> On a lot of sites, like Steam, when someone asks for your username they specifically mean the part of the URL after "steamcommunity.com", for example. They don't mean your display name, as a dozen people could have the same display name in theory, making it really hard to find you. I dunno how to fix it, but I think that definitely explains why you're getting a lot of what look like incorrect submissions. For the ones that don't match patrons, maybe going to patreon.com/thatname and seeing if it's valid would be helpful? Or maybe including a screenshot with the right field circled in the Google Form?

2016-01-03 06:37:46 +0000 UTCA lot of people log in to Patreon with their Facebook accounts, so when you ask for a Patreon username, do you mean the part of the URL after patreon.com, or the actual "name" that posts are made under? I've been using the part of the URL after patreon.com in the profile, but I can see how this is confusing, especially to people who don't use that info to log in.
