Where's that comic you promised?? Pt. 2
Added 2016-08-16 07:33:36 +0000 UTCThis...has been a long time coming for me. I've put off something for so long and now it's spiraled out of control and I have no choice but to put my comic on hold.
Above is my current debt from this past tax season. It isn't that bad considering the average debt of most Americans, but for someone who's currently kinda...scraping by, it's a big number. Big enough that I can't really knock it down with this comic and other distractions that are grabbing my attention. And even worse, the debt will grow the longer I wait. And because I'm an idiot, I decided to wait until a recent wake-up call brought me to writing this post.
So, from here on, I need to focus 100% on commissions and merch. More slots, more love pillows, wall scrolls, etc. And I know how "greedy" that might sound. And shitty considering how much I've been hyping up my comic and the ones to come. I can't tell you how disappointed I am in myself for letting this happen.
Will comics happen eventually? I'm nowhere near in any position to make promises again so I'm going to say, no. For now.
Sorry for the bad news, guys. I'll do better from here on. You all deserve that.

2016-08-16 11:02:54 +0000 UTCI'd be happy to that that small of a debt. But I 110+% understand. I too have a small mountain of debt too some but seems catastrophic to me. I'm nearly at the point of a diet of top ramen and tap water. Don't listen to any "negative Nancys" and don't beat yourself up, not even a little. Things happen and you have to do what you need to do to survive in this messed up world. We all make mistakes, all we can do is learn from them and try a little bit harder the next time. I hope things work out soon. :D
