My Life Turned Into A Chuunige VN 15
Added 2025-06-12 20:49:33 +0000 UTCWhen someone watched a story, they rarely worried about what would happen after the antagonist fell, but Shinsuke Yamaguchi was forced into thinking about it as Gilgamesh’s slowly disintegrating body fell to the ground.
Would Rin and her cool, super hot Servant attack them? Would Medea and her penis removing ways once again become an enemy? Would his cool shiny sword that he was currently sacrificing his palms for disappear into nothingness?
And Shinsuke Yamaguchi was not the only person thinking about that of course, such thoughts were filling everyone’s heads, and so the air became so filled with tension that one might choke on it.
Saber and Archer began slowly walking towards each other, and their Masters. They knew who was their ally, and who they had to protect. Medea began floating a bit higher, ready to escape this temple if need be. Okita was thinking about noodles. Rin was thinking about the possibility of Okita thinking about something stupid like noodles.
“Soooo…” Shinsuke’s voice echoed through the temple. “Thanks for the help, Tohsaka.” Well, she hadn’t done much.
But the last time Shinsuke had seen her, Archer had shot her leg. So he imagined acting rude would probably just ruin his already low chances of stopping this conflict before it escalated into something everyone would regret.
Shirou nodded. “Yeah, though… I’m still surprised you’re a magus of all things.” The Fake Janitor understood that he should have kept that opinion to himself, but…
He couldn’t help himself. In his eyes Rin had always been the perfect school idol, and while he knew that was unfair towards her, the end result is that imagining Tohsaka as some researcher who barely had any morals just felt wrong.
Rin slowly tilted her head. “And what is that supposed to mean?” Shirou’s comment had definitely pissed her off. Did she look incompetent or something?
No, it didn’t matter right now. She threw those thoughts away and glared at Shinsuke. “Well, whatever. I owed you one, and now I don’t. We are going to be full on enemies from here on out.”
Before she had been approaching her eventual fight with him with the idea that she would spare him, and eliminate only Archer. Now though, she no longer needed to care about that. Not to say she would go out of her way to kill him, that would be the acts of a brute not a magus, but she wouldn’t hold anything back either.
Shinsuke raised an eyebrow. “You… owed me? For what exactly?”
Rin clicked her tongue. “Isn’t it obvious?” She felt humiliated. Did he have to bring this up in front of her enemies!? “You… saved me, so it’s only fair that I save you too.” Yeah, there was no arguing with that logic.
She understood that this was a war of course, and that repaying Shinsuke’s foolishness was stupid, but she wasn’t just any random magus! She was a Tohsaka! She had more elegance than some bloodthirsty researcher.
“Hah?” To Shinsuke her logic made absolutely no sense. Mostly because he was not insane. “Saved you? I didn’t do anything like that. I just spared you.” Though maybe he shouldn’t say that out loud.
Much like Shirou, he had just put his foot in his mouth.
And as usual, Archer was right there to follow her Master into their graves. “Yep!” She snorted. “That’s some pretty twisted definition of saving you got right there!”
Suddenly, Rin was blushing due to a completely different reason than before. “Shut up you two! If it’s a fight you bastards want, then it’s a fight you’re gonna get!” She was on a time limit anyways, so she might as well start this mess!
Shinsuke however, still wanted to put his mind on the right place. “Wait, sorry! I didn’t mean to start anything! And I mean, you basically didn’t pay anything back right? Your Servant didn’t even do anything!” ” He didn’t want to fight her stupidly hot Servant! And also her!
He might be forced to, however…
Saber was Shirou’s Servant, Archer was his, Lancer was… either Gilgamesh or Rin’s hot Servant, Rider was Medusa, Caster was Medea, Assassin was either Gilgames or Rin’s super duper hot Servant, and Berserker was dead. Shinsuke already knew of all seven Servants, He couldn’t afford to spare anyone that he hadn’t coined.
Heracles had been worth multiple Servants for the Grail, and Gilgamesh would definitely count too, but… There was no way only two people would be worth seven. Hell, he was worrying if he could even get his wish at this point.
The biggest problem by far though, was his own mouth. Did he really have to scream at Rin that she still owed him one!?
Rin pointed at him. “I won’t wait for a damn thing! Let’s go, Saber!”
Okita drew her sword, and tensed her legs. She would cut down Archer and her Master. “Very well then—”
“Wait!” This time it was Shirou who interjected. “Why are you calling her Saber? Can there be two Servants of the same class in the war?”
The actual Saber Servant clarified things for her Master. “No… I assume the Tohsaka is attempting some kind of trick by using misdirection. Her Servant must be of the Assassin Class.” Gilgamesh must have been Lancer…
Well, it was hard to categorize the King of Heroes, she was pretty sure that man could have been summoned in any class.
Rin sputtered. “Y-yes, one cannot summon multiple Servants of the same class, at least not without cheating. But that doesn’t have anything to do with my Servant, Emiya! She’s Saber—!”
Artoria quickly shut her up. “Girl… I am Saber.”
“...” Rin wanted to die.
Okita innocently raised a hand. “Can we trade classes? I’m an Alter Ego, but my Master seemingly doesn’t like that.” Right now she sounded like a dejected child who just wanted the love of her mother.
Of course in such a scenario, Saber was at a loss for words. This Holy Grail War was beginning to feel more and more like a joke as time went on… At least the joke had been mostly at Gilgamesh’s expense.
That had been nice.
Rin recomposed herself. “Ugh… Fine, it’s true. I am not the Master of Saber… That won’t be saving anyone here though. My Servant is still the strongest!” Or at least that’s what she wanted to tell herself.
If her Servant was both weak, and had a time limit, then… Surely her bad luck had its limits?
Medea, up above in the air, let out a sigh. “Children, children, let us talk before we descend to violence, shall we?” The witch was actually a bit conflicted.
If a fight did break out she would of course, take Tohsaka’s side as an ally with her. Otherwise she would get steamrolled by a vengeful Archer and Saber. However, she would prefer to avoid a fight at all right now.
As much as she had bragged about the amount of mana she had collected, Gilgamesh had pushed that supply to its limits. Assassin was also seemingly dead. And so, she felt… unprepared, and when a magus was unprepared, they did not fight.
At her comment, a wide smile broke across Shinsuke’s face. “You want to talk!?” It was only natural he was happy.
Medea… that was a scary name. Not exactly the name of someone who was girlfriend material, that was for sure. Nonetheless, Shinsuke would love her with all his little twisted black heart!
Shinsuke’s smile had the super effect of wiping out Medea’s smirk. “Yes… I—”
Archer hummed. “Wait, before we hear whatever you want to say, I think we should clear up a big confusion here… What is the mage even doing here?”
Saber nodded. “I’m… curious as well. Although we do appreciate the help against the King of Heroes, ancient mages… do not have the best of reputations.”
The truth is that both Archer and Saber had attacked Gilgamesh more or less as soon as they showed up, but they never found out about all the circumstances that had led towards such a fight in the first place. Had Gilgamesh kidnapped their Masters? If so, why had Caster got involved?
“...” And now Caster didn’t know what to say. Would they attack her as soon as their Masters spoke up? Would the Master of Alter Ego choose her side?
Right now, Rin Tohsaka, the Master of Alter Ego in question, was carefully paying attention to everything. She was by far the most lost person here, after all… Although the idea of starting a fight to get this over with already was still ringing on her brain.
Shinsuke didn’t want to talk about what Medea had done, the Master of Archer was completely aware of what such an action would lead towards. There was one problem however, and that problem was named Shirou Emiya.
The Fake Janitor had no reason to not expose the witch. “She’s the one who kidnapped us! Gilgamesh just showed up later, but she wanted to steal you two!”
Archer laughed. “So it seems this is gonna be a two against two! Awesome!”
Saber pointed her sword at Caster. “I would not call it that, but an enemy of my Master is naturally my enemy too.” She would attack the witch to take advantage of her Magic Resistance. Archer could take down Alter Ego.
“A two against two?” Rin scoffed. “As much as it pains me to admit it… Yamaguchi is right. I still haven’t paid him back.” She was trying to run away from her debt, and as a Tohsaka, she felt ashamed. “Thankfully there is an easy solution for that right in front of me.”
Okita stole a glance at her. “Master, can’t you just give this guy some money or something—”
“Shut up.” Rin didn’t want to hear it.
And just like that, Caster suddenly felt terrified.
She was low on mana, she had used most of her tricks on Gilgamesh, her Master wasn’t around to defend her, Assassin was presumably dead… What did she have—!?
…Well, she did have one trick up her sleeve. A shameful trick. A trick that would mean sinking lower than she had ever done. Perhaps even lower than that time she had killed her own children to spite Jason.
Yet another part of her soul crumbled to dust. “Boy, please help! I— I need your help!” She began pleading for the Master of Archer, who once tried his stupid seduction on her.
It was a gambit that she could not lose, really. Either he ignored her and made some comment mocking her, or he helped her. Medea was used to mockery, it could not hurt her. It could make her pissed off though, as Gilgamesh had learned.
Shinsuke grinned. “Don’t worry, I’m on the case!” There was no way he could refuse an honest plea for help coming from one of the heroines. “Everyone, let’s not fight—”
“Yamaguchi, don’t be stupid.” Shirou shut him up.
“Seriously, Yamaguchi. Are you just incapable of hurting women or something?” Rin shut him up.
Like a dejected dog, he looked towards Archer for support, who laughed in return. “Aren’t you too much of a manwhore Master!? Well, it doesn’t hurt to listen to Caster, I guess.” In the end, that support had been given. Kind of.
Shirou grit his teeth, but relented. “Yeah, I guess Archer’s right.” Even if it hurt him to agree with her.
His opinion was not shared by Saber, but she stuck by her Master’s decision nonetheless. Hearing the witch should be fine, even if the knight decided right there and then that she would cut Caster down if she lowered her guard too much… or if she raised her guard too much for that matter.
And as for Rin… “I don’t care.” She was going to fight just to help out Yamaguchi anyways. And since Okita actually didn’t care, she just followed her Master’s orders.
Medea let out a sigh of relief. “Hah…” She looked at the Master of Archer. “Thank you, boy.” Men were beasts, if she didn’t express any gratitude, he might shift this back into a position where she would lose.
Shinsuke sent her a thumbs up. “No worries!” This was going well! “So, what did you want to talk about?”
Medea took a deep breath. “Very well, let me start… We should make a temporary truce.” So she would get her shit together, and possibly move her base of operations to a place that wasn’t known to everybody.
Staying in Ryuudou Temple had been worth it because Assassin could cover it’s one obvious flaw. Making the fact that her position could be easily found a non-issue. That was no longer doable.
She couldn’t actually say that of course, so she had to go about this in a more subtle manner. “Because there clearly is something wrong with the Grail.”
Rin narrowed her eyes. “Are you saying that because of Alter Ego?” She had been thinking about that too. A Servant accidentally being summoned to an Extra Class was something that she could overlook however.
“Yes, but that is not all.” It was time for Medea to use her trump card. “Nine Servants have been summoned in this war. Something normally impossible.” Her words were true, and even Medea was wondering how that had occurred. “Saber, Archer, Lancer, Rider, me, Assassin, Berserker, Gilgamesh, and now Alter Ego.”
Shinsuke gasped. “Are you saying Gilgamesh is not a part of the seven? And neither is Rin’s Servant!?” How lucky! If there were more than seven Servants around, getting his wish no longer seemed impossible.
Medea nodded. “Yes, the actual Lancer has stepped foot onto my gates before.” And was driven off. “While Assassin was my ally… He is no longer around however.” She chose not to mention how she had been his Master.
The witch continued. “Taking that into consideration, I would rather us all conduct some kind of investigation before continuing to feed the Grail with mana. I am… worried about what this all could mean.”
She already had some theories in her head. Some simpler, like the Grail simply stockpiling more mana than predicted over the years, and some more complex, like the planet interfering. Medea didn’t say any of those theories though, because she knew the human mind would always come up with the scariest possible thing.
Rin hummed. “While that sounds interesting, to be honest… I have no reason to believe you.” A war with more than seven Servants…
The truth is that she didn’t know as much about the Grail as she probably should, most of the knowledge the Tohsaka had of it had died with her father. However, she did know about a protocol that could summon two teams of Servants in case the war stagnated, together with a Servant of the Extra Class.
Why would that have happened here though? And even if it had, why a Alter Ego and not a Ruler? Or was Alter Ego’s existence a separate issue?
Assuming that protocol really had activated though, there was a chance that the people here were supposed to be Rin’s teammates…
Shinsuke put a hand on his chin. “I have no reason to believe any of this either… but her words just sound trustworthy!” Humans believed in the words they wanted to hear.
Medea’s talk about multiple Servants being summoned sounded convenient for Shinsuke Yamaguchi, so he chose to believe them. And besides, there was a possible reason as to why multiple Servants had been summoned that he could think about.
The coins.
Maybe to let Shinsuke finish everyone’s routes, these coins had summoned more Servants to let the Holy Grail War proceed as normal.
Saber glared at him. “You cannot be serious. Surely you realize how idiotic you sound?”
Archer glared at Saber in defense of her Master. “Hey, my Master is a lucky idiot. Add lucky there or it's just offensive.” Actually, she didn’t defend a damn thing.
But Shinsuke actually understood Saber’s point. “Yeah, but… How about this?” He caressed the hilt of his stolen sword, the pain making his mind run faster. “Let’s take Caster as a hostage?”
“Oh?” Saber liked the sound of that.
“Hm!?” Caster hated the sound of that.
Shinsuke continued. “We take her, and keep a watch on her until our… investigation ends. That way, she can’t really do anything to harm us or plan behind our backs, right?” Keep your friends close and your enemies closer, or something like that.
Though Shinsuke would turn her from enemy to lover during this time!
Saber supposed he was correct, but even so… “Assuming that we do keep vigilance on her, and that she doesn’t do anything, what is even the benefit of keeping a pet Caster?” It seemed like wasted effort.
“Well…” The benefit was him getting a girlfriend of course! Saying that definitely wouldn’t go well though.
Thankfully, Medea wanted to save her own skin. “If the Grail is showing some form of issue, having a good mage by your side could be useful, don’t you think?” Being taken as some glorified hostage hadn’t exactly been her plan, but it was better than nothing.
Besides, she was the Witch of Betrayal. Some opportunity to slide a knife between her enemies ribs would appear sooner or later.
Saber hesitantly nodded. “...I shall accept that reasoning for now.” They already had Illyasviel, but Caster could prove to be useful. “I shall be keeping my eyes, and my blade, close to your neck, witch.”
To that, Medea put a hand on her own neck. “Hopefully not too close…” It would be just like the Argonauts! How nostalgic.
Ugh… it would be just like the Argonauts… How nostalgic…
Rin interjected. “So I guess this side is solved then? Okay. If you guys don’t have anything else to say, I’m going home.” To be more accurate, she was gonna go ask Kirei if anything strange had happened.
She doubted he would say anything useful, but she had never registered her Servant, so she might as well use this opportunity to get that done.
Shinsuke cleared his throat. “I do have something else to say… Um… Why don’t you go with us too, Tohsaka?” He motioned to Alter Ego. “You and your cute Servant, that is.”
Rin’s right eye twitched in frustration. “Geez, you really are some wannabe womanizer… How disappointing.” The most disappointing part is how easily she fell for this kind of stuff.
Okita’s eyes were wide open from shock. “Master, I don’t think it’s wannabe.” This man was dangerous! Her heart had started to speed up!
Rin barely bothered to give Okita a response, waving her off. “Yeah, yeah…” She glared at Shinsuke. “Anyways, I’m holding a truce with you. We aren’t allies or anything… and that goes for Emiya and the witch too, of course!” She pointed at herself. “Don’t think there’s any ending to this Grail War where you win, and I lose, Shinsuke Yamaguchi.”
“...I see. Well, we will see how that’s gonna go.” He was pretty sure things weren’t going to be as smooth as she was hoping for. After all, he had just coined her Alter Ego.
Still, he was sure that as long as he believed in himself, things would turn up well. That was the scary thing about chuuni.

AN: Rin says no to the recruitment pitch... and so does Medea, internally at least, alas, as usual consent is stolen from her.
