Added 2023-06-02 17:00:07 +0000 UTCHow do you guys feel about me doing a video on disturbing/dark/banned PSA's? I like the idea, yet I want to try to avoid a "TOP 10 SCARIEST-" kind of video. Trying to conjure up a unique approach so that way it doesn't just come across as lazy content.
Something about PSA's hits that nostalgic and traumatic tingle at the same time and it has me intrigued on covering them.
Ideas and opinions greatly appreciated!

Really, the purpose of PSAs are to indeed be shocking in some sort of fashion. Like the “This is your brain/This is your brain on drugs” commercial. That was one that was talked about at school when I was a kid. So I think that would interesting to examine in a larger sense….

It’s a British PSA from ‘73 about the dangers of swimming alone and in murky waters. The narrator is pretty much a supernatural entity that stalks and kills children and gives of some pretty strong serial killer vibes. It’s pretty great!
