I'm The Son Of Lucifer 03

This is the worst. This is the worst. This is the worst. This is the worst. This is the worst. This is the worst. This is the worst. This is the worst. This is the worst!
Yukino Yukinoshita held back tears as she once again tried turning her phone on. And just like the last time she tried, nothing happened.
The cellphone was broken after all. It broke because a few seconds ago Yukino had thrown it against the wall in a rare fit of anger... Not that it mattered anyways, for all the time she stayed here she had gotten zero signal.
Still, her last source of light was gone.
Now she had no light. No food. No water. She didn't have energy in general, since she hadn't managed to get a wink of sleep while here.
She slowly slid against the wall. "Why...?" What did she do wrong? She... she didn't deserve this, she was always helping people. Nobody deserves something like this. And yet, that bastard had carelessly thrown her in here, wherever here was.
Fuyuki Fujiwara... He had told her to remember his name, naturally she didn't forget it, there was no way she could. He was the man who kidnapped her for seemingly no reason at all.
He had to be a stalker, a creepy pervert who wanted to abuse her body... Alternatively he was some criminal who wanted ask for ransom. Yukino really hoped it was the latter... Even if after this her family would never give her any semblance of independence.
"I just don't get it..." She wished she could at least know what time it was... and where she was.
The bastard had just throwm her into a wall, one close to her apartment. Except it apparently had a whole secret base, one with a bathroom and a kitchen even! How did he build that!?
Yeah, right. As if she could try and find a normal explanation for this. Fuyuki could make a door appear and disappear... Clearly something abnormal was happening here. Something which she had no way of resolving.
And so, she did what she always did when something above her means appeared in her life. "Hikigaya..." She crumpled into a ball, and begged for help to the people who were better than her.
The door suddenly appeared. "How about something better!?" And in came the man who she feared the most.
Immediately he gained her attention, as the bright light from outside blinde her. And also came a realization... He had heard what she said. He was hearing from the other room.
Except there shouldn't be a room on the other side, there should be an alleyway... And yet there was a room. Where her eyes deceiving her? Maybe. She didn't know what she could trust for now, so she could only tremble.
And then something strange happened, Fuyuki walked into the room. "Oh, this is no good! I know I told you to calm down, but that doesn't mean you should stay completely silent." He was smiling, as if nothing was wrong.
What else did she expect from what was clearly a maniac? "What do you want, Fujiwara?" Was he now going to... touch her?
The boy kneeled in front of her. "I'm just here to see my cute girlfriend... and yet I find her whispering the name of another man." Her heart stopped beating. Was he going to hurt Hikigaya now too?
He continued. "I mean, it's kind of mean to your family, don't you think?" She flinched. "I know you have a pretty powerful one after all, so please don't put all your hopes on my fellow loner." He was a loner too?
Strange... While Hikigaya had the aura of a... as mean as it was to say... dead fish, Fujiwara had the aura of a tiger. A predator. Even if a much colder, darker Hayato... No, that wasn't right either, she could see through Hayato's confidence.
And then it clicked for her. Fuyuki Fujiwara had the aura of Haruno Yukinoshita. Not a tiger, a shark.
She recoiled. "Just please... tell me what you want..." Since he had brought up her family, maybe it really was all about money.
He tilted his head. "I just want my cute princess to be happy." Huh? "So I brought her to the place where she belongs, my side." Ah, he really was some ultimate creepy stalker.
Fuyuki looked down. "Judging by your eyes though, I'm guessing you haven't slept well... Is my little princess scared? Don't worry, it's gonna be much less scary soon." He snorted. "When a horror game has multi-player, it just becomes comedy, after all."
A multi-player game...? He was definitely going to bring even more people here... And only she knew about it.
She looked at the door behind him. It was opened. Unguarded. Could she maybe push him out of the way and then run away? If she did that, then she could warn the police about this psychopath.
But he wasn't guarding the door. Why would he do something so stupid...? There had to be something she wasn't realizing, and she bet a failed attempt at running away would merit punishment.
Fuyuki suddenly raised something, a bottle of water. "And speaking of multi-player, here." He casually handed it fo her.
She could only accept while being confused. "H-huh?" So he was handing her water after all...? She was starting to get scared, but it seemed he at least had no intention of hurting her.
He suddenly got up. "It's a cheat!" He grinned. "I did say you would have to work for things here... well, since you will soon have a buddy, that has been delayed." She didn't even want to think what that work would be.
She tightly held onto the bottle. "Why are you giving me a cheat...?" Actually now that she thought about it, he had also given her that first aid kit simply for... being cute.
He chuckled. "Isn't it obvious...? Because you're my favorite." Ah. "Do keep it a secret though, and don't share with your soon to be buddy. If they learn the gamemaster has favorites, things will get messy."
She would definitely share.
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
"I must admit young master, I'm curious on why you gave her that cheat."
Fuyuki began writing on his notebook. Since he was in class, he shouldn't be whispering around. Yesterday he had made that mistake, and maybe someone had noticed... Now that he had officially become a criminal, he couldn't repeat it.
"To make her feel special, first of all." As he had said before, a carrot is important. "And to induce a little bit of social isolation. If she doesn't have anything to hide from Yumiko, they will just quickly become buddies, and her mental state will become stronger." He wished he had a room for each one...
But he didn't have that privilege, so he would have to artificially create conflict between the two. It would be great if the two failed to connect, and it would be even better if they began to hate each other. That way he could be the best human contact they had.
Of course, this would mean they would need to be irrational enough to blame each other instead of him, but hopefully that would end up happening due to his manipulations and their lack of food... And Yukino's lack of sleep. Seriously, what a unexpected blessing.
The eyeball nodded. "I see. And what if she does share the bottle of water with Yumiko Miura?" He was like a teacher quizzing Fuyuki on why he had chosen a certain answer during a test.
Thankfully Fuyuki could easily explain himself. "If she does that, then you will warn me. And then I will punish her and take the bottle away... Since she hasn't found any cameras in any of the rooms, it will make it seem even more like some super eldritch being."
Right now Yukino was still on the process of accepting that her kidnapper could create magical doors... And then she would have to accept that she was always being watched. That type of stuff drove people crazy.
Even back when he caressly left the door to the room opened such thoughts were on his mind... Either his confidence would make Yukino not move, which was definitely good. Or she would try to run to the door and get stopped by a invisible Satan.
Either way Fuyuki came out of that situation as an all knowing god.
He continued writing. "Honestly, I would prefer if she shared the bottle. Because then once they're in deep shit I can give Yumiko some boon and leave Yukino in the dry for her previous cheating. That's bound to fuck her up." She would feel betrayed by Yumiko.
She would also feel bad for losing her spot as the favored one, and if Fuyuki worked through this in the correct way, she would try to reclaim that spot. Even if it meant stepping on Yumiko's head.
Naturally, if she didn't share the bottle, then Fuyuki would arrange things so that Yumiko found out, and then give her a chance to claim the spot of the favorite. Either way, both would be competing for his attention, while hating each other.
It would be a messed up harem, but for a harem to exist in the first place they would have to distrust all others and trust him above all else.
The eyeball chuckled. "Very good." Fuyuki hadn't actually explained all his reasoning to him, but the demon probably understood. "But don't rely solely on these plans. Find more weaknesses, keep striking at them with no mercy."
Fuyuki silently nodded.
Even with that casual conversation he had been digging for weaknesses... and he had found it. Maybe. It was clear that something was up with Yukino's family... After all, she lived alone even though she was a high schooler, and she begged for some classmate's help instead of her own parents. He could use that weakness, abuse it.
Ding dong. The bell for lunch rang.
Immediately his classmates begin moving around, either to join their little cliques, or to leave the classroom, but there were two exceptions. First was Hikigaya who was just sleeping...
And then there was Fuyuki, who faked going to sleep after closing his notebook. He wanted to listen after all. That was a surprisingly powerful skill.
He could hear Yumiko's voice. "Um... Sorry, I haven't seen her."
Next was Yui. "Really...? Ugh... I can't find her anywhere... and she's not responding to my messages." They were definitely talking about Yukino. Yuigahama was her fellow club member after all.
Yumiko sounded worried. Not for Yukino, for Yui. "Maybe she's sick...? She also strikes me as the kind of girl who doesn't tend to mess with her phone a lot." That was some neat information, though he already had suspected.
Yui sighed. "I guess so... I will call her." Naturally, that wouldn't work.
Fuyuki almost let out a sigh of relief, things were working out just fine.
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
"Yukino Yukinoshita has moved to the bathroom. Yumiko Miura is getting closer." As he had asked, Satan was constantly telling him the whereabouts of the two.
Fuyuki nodded from his hiding spot. "Got it." This time things would be more troublesome, since he couldn't open the door before the attack. If he did that, then Yukino could escape.
It couldn't be helped though, someone had to take the fall first, and Yukino was just more convenient.
Yumiko Miura lived with her parents. Yumiko Miura walked a decent chunk of the way back home with her buddies before splitting. Yumiko Miura was very active on her cellphone, constantly sending messages to her friends. She was seen and heard all the time. A popular and beloved girl.
The only easy thing about her is that much like Yukino she arrived home late. She had to spend time watching her precious little Hayato play football after all...
Basically, the problem was that she was too active. If she disappeared people would notice it almost immediately.
Meanwhile Yukino went home alone, lived alone, and wasn't the type to use her cellphone a lot. Which is why instead of assuming she was kidnapped, people were assuming she was sick...
Going after Yukino first had bought him an extra day. Naturally his bonus time would end after today, because the school would call her parents, and then her parents would realize she went fucking missing...
Police would be called, and most importantly the school would tell the students to be careful on the way back home and maybe even end clubs early. Yumiko would start going all the way home with her friends, instead of dumping them midway through.
Today was Thursday. Today was his last chance at kidnapping her.
Naturally if he had gone after Yumiko first, her kidnapping on the way back from school would be immediately known, and kidnapping Yukino would have become impossible. So as far as order went, Fuyuki considered himself in the right.
Satan cut through his thoughts. "She's here."
Thump. Thump. Thump. This time he did not close his eyes, and he knew it was simply her footsteps... Things like this really did get easy over time, didn't they?
Just like last time, as soon as she walked ahead of his position, Fuyuki sprung into action. He was much more efficient this time, she did not even have the time to begin shouting before the piece of cloth shut her up.
Fuyuki quickly found out she was a much more fierce fighter than Yukino however. Instead of just trying to escape from his grasp, she was hitting him over and over again with her elbow, not to mention how she kept trying to step on his feet.
In the end it didn't matter though. His ring was protecting him from any and all damage... a girl's elbow certainly wasn't a holy or demonic power, and it certainly wasn't as strong as a bullet from a gun. He was kidnapping a normal high schooler, not the Ultimate Martial Artist.
As the approached the alleyway, Fuyuki had to very quickly use one of his hands to touch the wall. Thankfully she didn't manage to escape and then...!
He threw her in and unsummoned the door. A total success.
A sigh escaped his mouth. "Kidnapping is way too easy when you have magical items..." He almost felt bad for all the normal kidnappers who had to go through troublesome things like dragging them into vans.
Satan laughed. "The world is unfair, but as long as you win its okay!" Yep. "That said, while I would consider this crime well executed, you messed up by your own standards. The girl's landing didn't hurt her, but you did. Her elbow to be more specific." Ah, he had wondered why she suddenly groaned in pain at one moment.
He shrugged. "It can't be helped. Now let's go home."
Tomorrow he would see if his head was on the chopping block or not.
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Fuyuki had not immediately visited Yumiko once he arrived home like had done for Yukino. She had the first aid kit for her wound after all, so he wasn't too worried. He wanted to let her stew instead.
But now it was a new day, so it was about time he introduced himself.
Before that however... "Satan, give me a status report on what they have done throughout the night, and what they are doing right now." He always had to be one step ahead of them.
The eyeball nodded. "As you wish young master... First Yumiko Miura saw Yukino Yukinoshita as an enemy, but that misconception was quickly cleared. The latter then explained the situation and they mostly stewed in silence." Oh?
Typically people became more willing to chat when in the dark... and also when the other person was their only ally. Were they really that incompatible?
The demon continued. "Yukino Yukinoshita also told her about the water bottle, though only she has drunk it so far, Yumiko Miura has rejected it for since she's not yet thirsty." Yukino was a naughty girl!
Also, Miura was smart enough to keep her resources...
"The blonde also had some gum on her schoolbag. She gave it to the Yukino Yukinoshita who quickly devoured it." Ugh, his mistake. He didn't even think about their school bags.
He couldn't exactly confiscate them now though, it would make him look weak... Not unless he could find an excuse to take them, which he had too. The less familiar items they had, the better.
He was lucky Yukino had broken her phone in a fit of rage.
He waved the eyeball off. "That sucks... but it is what it is, and gum isn't exactly filling anyways." It might be even be a bigger torture that she got so little food. "What about their sleep, did Yukino sleep well?"
The eyeball chuckled. "Nope. She hasn't gotten a wink of sleep yet." She didn't feel comfortable enough to sleep even after Yumiko showed up!? They were that incompatible!? "Yumiko Miura has slept however." Or maybe Yukino was just really paranoid...
"Now about their locations... Yukino Yukinoshita is sitting down against the wall." Again!? "While Yumiko Miura is holding a knife, and waiting at the place where the door always appears." Ah. She really was a fighter.
How cute.
The knife part was troublesome though. "I'm such a goddammed idiot...!" He would need to confiscate that, and clean the kitchen. Not because he feared for his own safety, but because he didn't want them killing themselves once the food situation got really bad.
Or killing each other. He would definitely add a no violence rule...
It wasn't time to think about that though. "Okay Satan, please guard the door like last time." As soon as the devil nodded, he touched the wall and summoned the door.
He walked inside the room with a bright smile. "Hello...!" And then Yumiko who was close to it, tried to stab him right in the eyes. "Good morning, everyone!" He didn't even bother acknowledging.
Yumiko could only silently gasp as the knife flew from her hands, her eyes filled with disbelief. A stab when coming from her was no bullet fired from a gun. It wouldn't harm him.
Yukino reacted the same way as her friend of course. Yet again she was forced to accept that she was not dealing with a human.
"I see everyone is really energetic already! Sadly I will have to rain on this parade... You've been naughty Yukino, so it's punishment time."
