I Turned My Life Into A VN 02

Shinsuke Yamaguchi had been excited for today.

He figured he would either get to spend some romcom time with Rin Tohsaka or some with Sakura Matou. Hell, maybe even both at the same time. What he didn't expect, however, was...

"Oi, I'm only going to ask you one more time, what did you do to Tohsaka?" What he didn't expect was being confronted by Sakura's brother of all people.

"Nothing...?" Shinsuke was surprised, though.

When Shinji began rushing at him like a bull seeing red, he thought the jig was up, as unlikely as that was. Now though? He doubted it. Mostly because if Shinji really had figured something out, he would have asked about Sakura first. Probably.

"Don't lie, you little shit." Shinji shook him, grabbing Shinsuke by the collar.

This was... troublesome, to say the least. Even if Shinji hadn't found out about the coin, he was still mad for some reason. And as a member of the Archery Club, he was a very muscular guy. Shinsuke wasn't really sure he could take him on.

"I'm not lying though." He was absolutely lying. "I just really have no idea what you're on about."

"Yeah? Then why have I heard rumors you and Tohsaka got freaky in the hallways yesterday!?" Ah, so this is what this was all about.

Shinji had heard the rumors, but like all rumors, things got distorted along the way.

The true story was that Rin slipped up and fell on a guy's crouch two times. She also pulled that guy's pants down by accident. A story so absurd that in the end the rumors actually toned it down, making it more believable.

And so, the story Shinji heard was how Rin Tohsaka had kissed a guy in the hallway.

Something that a normal person would have probably ignored, as had most students of Homuraha, but Shinji was far from a normal person. And so was Rin. The two were the cream of the crop, and so they were supposed to belong together. Some brat had no right to interfere with that...

But Shinji explained none of that. Not that Shinsuke would have backed off if he didn't. "Freaky? Only Rin got freaky if I'm being honest—"

"Shut up." Shinji punched him.

Yes, there was no doubt, a member of the Archery Club really did hit absurdly hard. Shinsuke could even feel something warm dripping from his nose, which he could only guess was blood.

Shinji grinned, confident that he had control over this situation. "Now, I'm going to ask you again, what did you do—"

"Brother!" An irate Sakura Matou suddenly made her presence known.

She wasn't the type that would ever raise her voice against her brother, but that only applied if she was the one being tormented. So while she didn't understand what was going on, she stepped in.

Well, no doubt some of this courage also came as an influence from the school's Fake Janitor.

"Hah? Sakura?" Shinji turned around to her with an annoyed look.

"Hah? Matou?" While Shinsuke did with a confused one.

He had been expecting this to be a Rin event after all, since Shinji was mentioning her so much. Now that he thought about it more, though, this made sense too. Shinji was Sakura's older brother after all.

Huh, now that Shinsuke thought about it, wasn't this situation kind of funny? Shinji clearly had a crush on Rin, no reason to raise this fuss otherwise, and Sakura was his little sister. Both had been coined...

Shinji was an NTR victim!

Shinsuke had not defended himself because he had been waiting for a cutscene to trigger, but now that he had reached this new realization, he hoped that punch had given Shinji some catharsis. It was the last happiness he would have in his life from now on, after all...

Sakura walked closer to them. "What are you doing, brother? This... you can't hurt people like this!"

Shinsuke sighed. "Nah, it's okay, Miss Matou." He turned to Shinji, a look of pity on his face. "Keep hitting me. It's only fair." He would take it all.

Hopefully that would be enough consolation for the fact that Shinjj was doomed to a life of cuckoldry.

"What?"

"Hit me, Shinji. Hit me until you feel good. Hit as much as you want to."

Upon hearing such a thing, there was only one thing Shinji Matou could do... and that was releasing Shinsuke Yamaguchi. The seaweed hated those who pitied him, but this... this was just weird! He didn't like this!

"F-fuck off, weirdo!" He left, using this chance as an opportunity to not even say anything to Sakura.

Sakura, who was just watching and wondering what was going on too. "Um... Is... Are you okay, Senpai?"

Shinsuke nodded. "Yep." He put a hand on his nose and then pulled it back to look at it. "Well, I guess my nose is bleeding." As expected. "But your brother didn't break anything."

"Um... sorry for his behavior." She bowed in apology.

He waved her off. "It's alright." It wasn't really.

Shinsuke didn't know much about Shinji besides the fact that he was popular, but he wouldn't have guessed that he was a violent person. He imagined that this would become a problem he would have to deal with during his journey into obtaining Sakura Matou.

This for sure was a punishment for acting rashly yesterday and taking Sakura without any planning. He could deal with an asshole brother, though, and who knows, maybe Shinji would mellow out as Shinsuke and Sakura got closer.

"By the way... Your name is Sakura Matou, right?" He figured he should take this opportunity and introduce himself to her.

Especially since he didn't know much about the girl. He had basically picked her exclusively because she was pretty and... shapely. She had big tits. A very rare quality for a Japanese girl who was also a first year of all things.

"Yes... I'm sorry, but I don't know your name, senpai." The only thing she knew was that he was a second year. That he was part of Rin Tohsaka's class.

Sakura sometimes would... keep an eye on Rin. Just for curiosity.

"It's Shinsuke Yamaguchi. Nice to meet ya." He put a hand on the back of his neck. "Hey, do you wanna go to the infirmary with me?" Was that a weird invitation? Probably.

Maybe he should have just let things go naturally, especially since he could now see Sakura was hesitating.

The girl had only come here to douse her brother's anger after all. The truth is that she saw how he was scowling and wanted to make sure everything was okay, but her plan was to quickly return to her Senpai's side afterwards and appreciate the little time she had left before the school bell rang.

But... Sakura Matou didn't know how to say no. "Ah, sure. Are you feeling dizzy, Senpai?" She was wondering why he had asked, though.

Was it because he was unhealthy and wanted someone to watch over him, or did he have some other intentions in mind?

"Yeah..." Shinsuke lied with not a hint of shame. "I don't think that punch particularly messed me up, but Tohsaka might have passed me something." But he was too prideful to say Shinji had seriously hurt him even in his life.

Not because he was a very prideful person in general, but because... Shinji was a doomed NTR cuck. Marking himself as inferior to him in any way imaginable was just too sad to bear.

"Tohsaka-Senpai is sick?" Sakura immediately zoomed in on that part.

"Yeah, she's sick alright." He grinned. "Love sick."

"What!?" Her eyes widened so much one would think she had just seen the world exploding.

For her, it was strange to even think Rin Tohsaka was capable of falling in love. Although she had no doubt that if she ever did fall in love, she would crush everything in her way until she got her lover.

"Yeah." He couldn't help it, he had to take this opportunity to brag. "It's actually why Shinji came to confront me. Tohsaka and I got... intimate yesterday in public, and I guess that pissed him off."

"O-oh." Sakura covered her mouth, trying to hide her obvious shock. And then her brain reached five conclusions in quick succession.

1. Why is it that Rin got to waste time dating and experiencing romance while she had to rot all alone?

2. Ah... Thank goodness that it wasn't her Senpai Rin had fallen for! Not that she thought that would happen, but if it did happen, any chances she herself had would immediately go away.

3. This Yamaguchi-Senpai must be kind of amazing to attract her big sister of all people... Was he a god!?

4. She was happy for them...? She should be happy for them. She was happy for them.

5. Did her brother actually think he ever had a chance with her sister? How delusional— No, she definitely shouldn't think that. Even if it was true.

And naturally, those strong thoughts were actually expressed on her face one by one. A rare sight really, considering every student in Homuraha was used to her either looking stoic or wearing a fake smile. The only one who had the privilege of seeing anything else being the Fake Janitor and occasionally Taiga Fujimura.

Yes, right now Shinsuke Yamaguchi was blessed.

So blessed that he actually started laughing for a bit. "Hahaha..." He had made a good decision with his second coin! "I'm just teasing you, Matou. I barely know Tohsaka." For now.

"Um." Immediately her fire disappeared, replaced by a pout. "Please don't do that again..." Her heart wouldn't be able to handle it. "But why was Big Brother fighting with you then?"

Her backing off now had a strange effect, however, because Shinsuke began wondering just why she had reacted so spectacularly to Rin getting a boyfriend. Yuri perhaps? There were plenty of girls into Tohsaka.

Or maybe... was this the legendary brocon!? It had to be right!?

Shinsuke felt as if he was evil incarnate. "I'm so sorry..." Shinji had reached unprecedented levels of cuckold.

Though if he was feeling bad for someone, shouldn't he be feeling bad about the girls he VN enslaved instead!? Well, in the end, he chose to feel bad for neither, of course!

"Yamaguchi-Senpai?" Once again she was confused. This senpai sure likes to... let his mind wander.

"My bad, I suddenly remembered something." He shook his head. "So, about the Tohsaka thing, I was just teasing you, but there is some truth to it. Tohsaka felt sick and ended up falling on top of me yesterday, though I think she's okay now. Shinji must have heard some rumors and assumed a bunch of things about it."

For the dignity of his future wife, he chose to not tell Sakura about the full truth. That miraculous moment would be forever something only shared by him and Rin— And the other people who had watched it, sadly.

"I hope she's okay then..." There was something about this that Sakura still found funny. Or maybe depressive? Her brother really did like Rin. Haha. Hahahaha. Hahahahaha!

If Sakura happened to be a Xianxia reader, she would make a comment about frogs and swans right now.

"I'm sure she is." Shinsuke was confident that the whole tripping was just the coin at work. "We should probably go to the infirmary, though..." The bell was definitely about to ring.

"O-of course! Sorry for wasting your time!" She apologized out of instinct. As usual.

"I'm the one who wasted time teasing you... well, more like I wisely spent time teasing you." What was school when compared to love!? Nothing! "And I'm also dragging you to the infirmary, so I should be the one apologizing."

"But..."

"No buts." Sakura was a pretty kind girl, huh? "In fact, I wouldn't blame you for going to class now if you wanted to..."

He obviously wanted Sakura to follow him, but now that he had spent so much time, he didn't want her to miss class. After all, he preferred working and educated wives who could help the harem thrive financially!

"No! I'll go with you, Yamaguchi-Senpai!" Sakura could be a determined girl, and she was now using that determination to make sure this kind senpai found his way to the infirmary.

Especially since her brother had caused problems out of a rumor.

"Well, if you're volunteering..." Technically, as his love slave, nothing that she really did was out of her own volition.

Or maybe it was? What if only her luck was being manipulated, but not her thoughts? There were undoubtedly hundreds of ways one could interpret the love coins and the explanation given by the goddess. In the end, Shinsuke decided he didn't care as long as he got a cute girl throwing her affections at him. Philosophy was for nerds.

As he contemplated not contemplating things, they made their way to the infirmary and discovered... that it was empty.

"Ugh. I guess I'm gonna keep having a bloody nose for a while longer." The nurse wasn't in the infirmary.

Where was she? Shinsuke didn't know. She was an infamous slacker, though, so he imagined she was just lazing around somewhere. He couldn't confirm it, though, since he had never personally seen the woman.

"That's no good, Senpai." She made a worried face. "How about I take a look at it instead...?"

"You know first aid?" He had captured a medic? Was this the instinct of a king?

"N-not exactly, but... I know how to patch up people." She had patched up her Senpai many times. And herself many times more. "I can at least clean your nose."

"Eh. I'm touched, but..." The bell rang at that exact time. "You should probably go to class for now. I'll just wait here for a while." Honestly, he could probably clean it himself.

His nose wasn't even bleeding anymore, and the blood that had dripped before had already dried up. Shinsuke wouldn't even mind walking around like this! It was a badge of pride! He had cucked the most popular guy at school!

Well, more like he was in the process of doing that.

"I'm fine with being late for a bit. Please let me help you, Senpai." She was usually never late, so her teacher would understand.

Once more, Shinsuke relented.

Who would reject having his wound healed by a cute girl, after all!?

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Shinsuke Yamaguchi arrived at class late.

Not that Rin cared much about that. In fact, she didn't even care about Shinsuke at all. That's not to say she disliked him either, she just didn't know anything about him. He was just another faceless person in the crowd for her.

Yeah. Just another guy.

Just another dude.

Which is why she should stop staring at him!

She didn't, however, and eventually, for some damned reason, he turned around and looked at her. And like a shy teenager with a crush, she immediately avoided his gaze with the speed of light.

Which meant she missed his grin. Things were going just great...

Rin Tohsaka did not have a crush, however. The truth is that she was simply still embarrassed about yesterday, like anybody would be. But she couldn't show that, she had to be... perfect.

There was something she had to admit though, she was strangely grateful to Shinsuke Yamaguchi.

That... definitely merited an explanation.

The truth is that sometimes human events could affect someone, affect someone deeply. That had been the case when Rin Tohsaka saw Shirou Emiya failing over and over again to do a high jump, for example.

And now the very... human? ...event of falling onto a guy's crotch felt like the last little bit of a real school life that she would get.

One could see that Rin Tohsaka had a very distorted view about what a school life could be.

But that didn't matter. What mattered is that from now on she really would shift more towards her magus lifestyle. After all, today would be the day where she would summon her Servant and join the Holy Grail War.

So yes, she was grateful. Shinsuke Yamaguchi gave her one final taste of what was considered normalcy.

She mumbled to herself. "I should probably pay him back eventually..." Both because of this gratefulness and because she had humiliated him in public.

As a Tohsaka, not paying a debt was unacceptable.

Only Rin Tohsaka would manage to delude herself into thinking she needed to pay a guy for falling headfirst into his cock two times consecutively. Truly mental gymnastics worthy of a genius.

But none of that would matter very soon anyways. As she had said, she would join the Holy Grail War tonight—

"Sudden group project!" Taiga Fujimura, their teacher for the period, exclaimed. "I heard whisperings related to jungle animals, so I decided to torture you all for a bit!"

Almost the entire class groaned, and that included Shinsuke Yamaguchi and Rin Tohsaka.

Shinsuke Yamaguchi groaned because this potential meant less time to spend with either Rin or Sakura. His grades weren't exactly great, so he wouldn't be able to ignore this either.

Rin Tohsaka groaned because she hoped the deadline would be long enough that she could handle this after the Holy Grail War was over. Otherwise, her group would be very disappointed at her contributions.

It was funny, though. Normally, Taiga Fujimura wouldn't have heard those whispers at the back of the room. Something must have carried those words with the wind.

"And that isn't all!" Fujimura raised her arms, it reminded the class of a tiger about to pounce. "To really teach you all a lesson, I expect this to all be done by tomorrow! Tomorrow you hear me!?"

Some of the more foolish students tried fighting back, saying it was unfair— But their voices could not be heard. Mostly because Taiga was really loud.

"Don't complain! Life's struggles often come out of nowhere!" Like when Shirou occasionally decided to go on a diet and cooked less. "Now for the groups!"

Taiga Fujimura was... an interesting teacher. As one could see, she could be extremely ruthless and cruel. But she also sympathized with the struggles of teenagers. Which is why she handpicked members for these types of groups, so no awkward teen would be left without one.

And of course, there was only one way this was going to go. "Tohsaka, Yamaguchi, you're a team!" She did not know of what had happened yesterday. The class thought she knew, though.

So they could only summarize one thing... Today the tiger was feeling particularly (hungry) cruel. Damn you, Shirou Emiya! Do your job correctly!
