A few months ago I was approached by a Lightsaber manufacturer. This company makes probably 80% of the sabers you see online - and for good reason too! I ordered myself a Darksaber sample to test the quality first and it blew me away, I was smiling like an idiot playing with this thing.

I knew the Lightsaber business was a crowded one so I began researching some of the top sellers and was a bit shocked to see how much they were all pricing these sabers. I'm talking nearly a 100% markup just for re-shipping something without opening the box. Here's another secret as well - they're all the same. Coming from the same manufacturer with the same pre-loaded fonts and settings. This is where I began to see some opportunities.

One of the few things I didn't like about the default sabers shipped to me were some of the ridiculous pre-loaded fonts. Jurassic Park, Ultron, and Sebulba fonts for example came on each one. Each font also included a voice line send off each time you retracted the blade which totally felt immersion breaking to me. I felt like this was another opportunity to improve.

Once the first wave of these 4 lightsabers arrived we got to work standardizing and improving them. Each lightsaber was unboxed and QA inspected before completely new software was installed - removing some of the more ridiculous fonts and disabling the voice line sendoffs. We did however throw in a Halo Energy sword font which is one of my favorites.

With all that said, I'm very happy to have these sabers in the shop. I've made sure they're up to the same extremely high standards as the rest of the items we offer while at a *very* competitive price. Each saber includes the best Proffie 2.2 board. Get yours today!
