Something new and exciting I'm working towards include a new line of miniatures for tabletop gaming and this is the first vehicle as part of that initiative! The current plan is to make these vehicles Legion sized and then "crash" them into various terrains to use for Star Wars wargaming - BUT - they still make amazingly fun scale models to print as you can see in the last image.

Everything is split up for easy FDM printing and the Bambu X1 knocked out the prototype in a day! It uses 1/4" (7mm) diameter rods through the center to help reinforce everything and you'll find the parts are keyed for easy assembly as well. One thing you may notice is that it's a little back-heavy due to the shape of the ship but if you print the front of the ship in a higher infill (50-80%) compared to the back it should solve that problem.

I'm really happy with this model as the LAAT is probably my favorite Clone Wars ship (and definitely my favorite Lego set).
