You guys know I love to spoil you all and here's another example of that! Figured we'd have back-to-back skull days since you guys like the Darth Maul one so much so please allow me to introduce the Halo Infinite Oddball Skull!
This one's a fair amount more complex than Mauls so let's talk about it!
It features a hollow interior with different combinations of faceplates for every type of maker. Some include screw holes so you can do what we did in the first photo and use physical screws to mount the faceplate to the skull, others have a separated light ring so you can insert LEDs and diffusion foam like we did as well!
The teeth include pre-grouped "Front" and "Back" versions as well as the individually split and keyed versions (numbered the same way dentists do).
What we did was print the skull base and faceplate on the Bambu X1 then resin printed the teeth and small light details. Scott (one of our interns) wired up LED's around the center ring, diffused it with foam and threw in a button switch! We took some screws off an old printer fan cover and used them to screw the faceplate in. Jamie did the weathering to really make this thing look super realistic (and creepy!). I threw on part of my ODST kit for the first image to be a little extra ;)
Hope you all enjoy!
