[New Files!] The iconic Death Trooper Helmet has been added to the September Specialist rewards!

Happy Friday everyone, I wanted to kick off the weekend with a much anticipated helmet: the Death Trooper!

Besides pouring over references to get everything just right, I'm very proud with how this helmet is split up! The DT helmet is, unsurprisingly, very complex. Finding the right way to split the helmet was very challenging, but having put together 2 kits now I'm very pleased with how simple it is and easy to print! Parts have flat bottomed surfaces to adhere to your print beds better and everything aligns with keys. You'll need a good separation of parts with how many different shades of black are on this helmet!

Includes the usual assembled, casting, solid versions, and visor template system as well!

A sizing slice was cut at forehead level for you to quickly confirm size before printing all the parts. Pre-cut parts for smaller print beds are also included.

2 Aerator variations were made, one solid and one hollowed into 2 parts for electronics if you want them to glow. The elongated keys also have holes through them for wiring!

Hope you all enjoy! This will be part of an ongoing effort to further flush out the armor from the Imperial Era. The Specialist nueroscanner and the rest of the armor are still in the works but got halted by Ahsoka stuff so keep an eye out for those in the future!

I printed one side plate the back and the face before I realized how small it was...starting over today, any scale recommendations?

What parts are you struggling with?

Printing one off on the Bambu Lab X1C in just under a day with a few breaks for sleep. I have a question, you say that smaller printers its broken down into parts and most parts have flat edges - would you consider adding a Bambu Studio project file, as I'm struggling with getting some of the parts aligned to the bed?

loving this. I have printed several DT helmets, and had a couple of anovos DT helmets. Note to anyone printing. At 100% it comes up small. Altho it seemed ok in armorsmith, like most DT helmets its a nightmare to get your head in. The design really suits people with a small head of a certain shape.

no lie, I just printed the Death Trooper prototype helmet a week ago! I was thinking that would be it and also created and printed my own side scope for it. BTW, still really need help with the rebel pilot visor I bought. I hope a video tutorial is coming to YouTube soon. thx
