[New Files!] The highly anticipated Captain Enoch Helmet has been added to the September Specialist rewards!

I'm real glad we were able to get this in before September was over! We must have gone through several dozen versions throughout the whole build, slightly adjusting things based on new references and getting the asymmetrical details just right! I'm extremely happy with how the design came out!

The files are split into 3 folders: Shared Parts, Sculpted, and Smooth. There are 2 versions of the helmet - one with surface lines and one without but both use the files in the "Shared Parts" folder.

Includes an assembled model of each version as well as vacuum forming bucks for the eyes. Filled and solid versions as well as some additional faces will be coming next week! All main body parts are intelligently cut and separated with interlocking alignment tabs to help with assembly. All large parts include pre-cut versions for smaller printers as well!

The face is able to be pressure fit into the helmet base and held without glue. We planned it this way so we could hot swap them out with some of the new upcoming faces ;)

Hope you all enjoy! This helmet took quite a lot of hard work so thank you all for being so patient!

curious what size head this is scaled for?

You have a lot of options for eyes and visors. Some tinted acrylic can have a one-way mirror effect, but if you get clear acrylic you can also apply one-way mirror film which you'd get for privacy windows. Fine mesh is a budget option but makes it just as hard to see out as it is in. For bigger things, tinted motorcycle helmet visors work great too. It all boils down to what materials and tools you have to work with.

I'm new to printing and building helmets, what material do ya'll recommend using for eyes?

Solid version avail?

David Reyez

Yeah could probably do that!

Absolutely love this, printing the separated version for the first run. Is there going to be a full version without eyes or removable eyes for a helmet. The separated one the eyes are out? This would be very helpful.
