[New Files!] The custom Mandalorian Repeater Blaster has been added to the August Specialist rewards!
Added 2024-08-09 17:17:28 +0000 UTCThis is something I'm supremely excited about! I wanted to make a "Western Repeater" themed blaster and boy we've got an incredible one, it features a functional lever action with trigger release!
2 versions are included: Static and Mechanical. Static is a "dumb" version requiring no non-printed parts outside of some 1/4" reinforcement dowels. The Mechanical version has a full single action system, meaning you can pull the hammer back manually or use the lever action. The hammer is then released with a spring loaded trigger pull!
A parts list and assembly video are included for the mechanical version so assembly should be a breeze! I have a full assembly video here as well: https://youtu.be/BfKjKOjwf9c
Both versions also include Bambu Studio Project and GCODE files to get started printing sooner. The mechanical version also includes a version of the lever with a larger opening for gloved hands!
I'm really proud of how the team came together on the design. We had Sergey design the base components and our new engineer friend Ron design the lever action. You can expect to see this duo work on a lot more exciting projects together!
I honestly love this rifle so much I'm considering using it as a basis for a whole custom Mandalorian build.
