[New Files!] Finished up the Space Marine 2 Bolt Rifle!

Another Patreon exclusive file from Space Marine 2 is all finished! This HUMAN sized Bolt Rifle can make a fun addition to any 40k cosplay or display piece.

From friend of the Patreon Sergey Kolesnik this guy should be a pretty straightforward and fun build! It has 2 1/2" diameter holes through the length for wooden reinforcement dowels. The magazine also uses 8, 10mm x 3mm magnets to "release and reload".

It's split up into 32 easy to print and assemble pieces and includes an assembled version for reference. Bambu Studio project and gcode files are also included so you can print it quicker and like we do!

Hope you all enjoy and have a great weekend!

Only through an annual subscription I'm afraid

Is there any way to get this now?

Vic Smith

Anyone have advice for printing on the Bambu P1S ? I notice there are Bambu Studio files but no mention of whether supports are needed or not !

Fac3bon3z

Any chance of the Heavy Bolter for the Gravis?

Sem785

So after messing around with the sizing and looking in game i came out with two sizes, so for space marine cosplay on stilts size is about 120 and for full size accurate its about 150. Its pretty close. but honestly i really think lore accurate is 200% because if you put on the bolter pistol and walk up to a adeptus mechanicus dude on that battle barge the barrel alone is the size of there head!

Compendium Ordo Cosplay

Yeah, I realized my boneheaded mistake last night and didn’t have the energy to fix it. Thanks!

Alex Falgione

Actually the Stalker bolt rifle has a larger scope and straight style mag with the with the bolts exposed. but its easy to get the two mixed up but this model is indeed the Bolt Rifle.

Compendium Ordo Cosplay

painting can be daunting but don't worry, its quite simple. especially with something like this where it mostly the same colors.

Compendium Ordo Cosplay

i just got done modeling some custom stamps! ill have some up soon on my shop hopefully

Compendium Ordo Cosplay

True. The bambu matte charcoal (black) is on sale. Arrived the other day and already started the print. .12 layer height, 3 walls and 10% cross hatch infill. It’s coming along really nice :)

Creative Lifestyles Studio

Stunning, hopefully there will be an armour set coming out as well at some point!

Yma O Hyd Miniatures

Whatever is cheapest at the time. A coat of primer is easy to do

Jesse P

And the armor for us to wear

Jesse P

Gotta be that guy and correct the post. This is actually a Stalker Bolt Rifle. Nerd Alert

Alex Falgione

So when are we going to get some files so we can print a life size astartes?

James Bunker

Does anyone have any purity seals we can use as ornaments/commendations for this bad boy?

Alex Falgione

Interested as well

Tony Snorek

I feel like I want to print but I don’t want to paint it afterwards, what filament does everyone use for it just to be finished off the plate? Like a matt black?? Or dark grey??

Creative Lifestyles Studio

yeah I'm going to play around with small part of it and base it off of a cinematic from the game.

Compendium Ordo Cosplay

Hard not to be. I don't care much for the miniature battles game, but the world that Games Workshop has created over the past several decades is so detailed and amazing.

Steve Dixon

So I'm considering scaling it up to full Adeptus Astartes size. Anyone have a rough estimate of how much (percentage wise) I should scale it up?

Steve Dixon

As a full on 40k nerd I love it!

Robert Edwards

Sounds like they got you hooked!

Aaron Hughes

Anyone have some good files for ornaments like the double eagle and such?

Steve Dixon

Guess its a good thing I just recently finished my Titanfall R-201 rifle! Now I've got time to start on this bad boy!

Hunter Rose

Well, know what I'm printing this weekend now...

Steve Dixon

After seeing the 40k helmets, I began reading some of the 40k books AND I grabbed the first Space Marine game (for $15) - This is what I was hoping for next for GA's releases. Kick ass!
