[New Files!] The Phase 2 ARC Trooper helmet joins the Dec. Specialist rewards!
Added 2024-12-17 17:16:43 +0000 UTC
The latest helmet on the remaster list is the Phase 2 ARC Trooper! This one needed simplified a bit and a few things touched up/revisited. It was the first helmet I incorporated magnets into years ago but as you know I've moved away from magnets as an assembly method since then. This new version is much simpler, assembles better, and includes all the niceties of our modern helmets!
Full feature list:
- Assembled Versions, Casting Version, and Solid Version
- Sizing Slice to help with scaling
- Visor cutout template and ridge system
- Bambu Studio Project and GCODE files
- Pre-separated version
- Pre-cut parts for smaller printers
- Movable rangefinder with 100% printed parts
All the pre-separated parts interlock together for an easy assembly! If you need the helmet to expand apart when putting it on I'd recommend elastic bands connecting the front and back.
Default scaled to fit up to a 24.5" circumference head.
Hope you all enjoy! I've got a lot of great releases setup I've just got to spend some time actually posting them instead of working on them π

Since this is an older file you'd need to either join annually or purchase it in the galacticarmory.net store

If they added the art, I could convert them for people...just saying, I cut vinyl too. Something could even be worked out for me to cut them and send them to GA for their website sales.
I have the silhouette pro, larger format cutter.

Would you ever consider making the Phase 1.5 Arc Helmet?

That looks great! Is the range finder moveable on the assembled version?

oh yeah there are still plenty to go at I am sure. I am sure everyone has a suggestion or two at the back of their mind..you guys work so hard to produce so much content, which is why its worth the annual outlay.

it would be awesome if you could add the decals as an SVG, PNG and JPEG so those of us with cricuts and silhouettes could just make them and stick them on instead of eye-ing it and hand cutting them out of tape as im sure others like me have shaky hands and disabilities that stop them from being able to do so.

Love this remaster. As someone with a larger printer, where I tend to try to print almost everything in one shot, I would love to have the option to stil have things like the aerator and the center mouth vent and the ear vent printed seperately as well. I find it easier to sand and finish them and I can swap out for a smaller nozzle for a little added detail on those greeblies. Totally understand that is extra work for you and I could be the outlier, but just thought I'd give some feedback. Either way it's not too hard to jump into fusion and alter the model to my preferances for printing.

Some original concepts would be fun. Would also make a good contest in the future. Especially of you're making your own "world".

Love this but why is it so complicated to get the files? I click "In Collection" nothing and I click Collections and it takes me to the same place?

Oh very cool! This may force me to work on an Umbra ARC trooper after my Clone-Spartan!

I'm glad to see GA back to the roots. I know you've pretty much done almost the entire franchise at this point, but man do I miss making star wars helmets.
