Great to See my helmet mentioned. Thanks for the Kind words. By the way, the blood drop is Just red resin πŸ™‚

KainPlan

Thank you! Anything I can do better for the future to catch peoples eyes? I think my photos were not very good :(

A mill

Very cool! Real nice stencilwork and great job on the chaos emblem

Aaron Hughes

@galaticarmory If you guys do get a chance and are able to give a little feed back on 166 i would love that! Thank you so much and have a great holiday!

A mill

Yes! haha It was 166 I believe. Chaplin helmet :)

A mill

What number was yours you remember?

Aaron Hughes

It hurts my sole not seeing mine mentioned at all haha. I just wanted some feedback from the two greats themselves :(

A mill

My helmet was the emperors children kitsugi helmet! Thanks for the kind words guys! Had a blast building this thing!

Joshua

Mine was the Salamander Chaplain on Fire. Thanks for pushing me to finish my first helmet. The Skull was painted in Storm gray metal auto paint, and the flames were borrowed from a Nikko ghost rider file printed in transparent orange PLA. After some scale guess work followed by some sawing, sanding and heat gun reshaping I got them to fit. Great work to everyone involved.

Anthony Perkins

I wouldn't say he didn't deserve it. Polishing that piece to this degree is a lot of work. I just had in mind that it was a special-themed contest. But I may have misinterpreted it.

Van

I did the Necron helmet, I printed the skull in transparent green PLA, filed out the lines after painting it and used a combination of LED strips and panels for the lights. I backed the lights with aluminum tape to reflect and concentrate the light at the places I wanted.

Markestro

It's also voted by all us who pay the patreon! So we all collectively decided "wow, this guy busted ass and is amazing" so that's why he won! Well deserved!

Tanner Govin

About 27 minutes in is mine! Seeing your guys reaction was awesome! Doom style champlain! The reflections are painted on!! Thank you guys!

Tanner Govin

Also I would just like to respond to the people "asking for the files" for the first darth maul, the horns literary came from the maul skull on the patreon so it was 100% galatic files anyway appart from the wax seals πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Dylan H

Heyo! Mine was the Aztec themed Chaplain at 31:11! I wanted to adorn the helmet but also wanted to have it stand out, I was originally looking at real headdresses, but then I was just playing around with the meshes when I liked how the Bulwark faceplate looked! Definitely added challenge painting and weathering the individual feathers, but it was a fun build! Thanks for the kudos 😁

Ickypahay

I was the Noise Marine submission! Thanks guys, "offensive" is exactly what I was going for!

Anthony Filkins

It wasn't, just a helmet contest with no real "style" requirements

Aaron Hughes

Just a question, but wasnΒ΄t this whole thing about "grim" style? But still the most shiny one won?

Van

Hey guys! I was the second Squidward submission, I'm very glad you guys thought he was funny and terrifying! Keep designing joke helmets, and I'll keep making them. Thank you very much for putting on this contest! I feel that I am growing as an artist. Next time though, I'm just going to buy a blank from you guys, as my printer shit the bed whilst making squidward.

Zander Laird

Hey thanks guys, I was the first darth maul that you mentioned, had a blast and learnt heaps first time painting a print πŸ˜… thankyou so much for the feed back ❀️

Dylan H

Loved making my Air Force helmet for the contest, and my military leadership loved it too!

Nicholas Hooker

as someone who is looking to improe, it would be interesting to learn : 1 - how much went in to some of the bigger conversions 2 - paint types and techniques used 3 - time taken to complete projects at each step 4 - how many were done by professional prop makers and amateurs 5 - some photographic tips

Paul Roche

What that tongue do? :D

Brady Thomassen

Thanks for the shout-out on my Pirate theme'd bucket! Can't wait for the next one!

Chris Andraka

Wouldn't say Motorhead was what I went for, but thanks.

Waya Chetan

Thank you for the awesome words on my Nightlords helmet, Aaron and Jamie. Looking forward to building more of your cool stuff. I'd also like to thank all the other members who voted for my helmet. Good job on all your entries, everyone. Keep on buildin' on!

Thanks for the epic feedback (19:06) and for the pick Aaron! Appreciate it. Makes it worth all the hard slogs haha!

So I was the Raven Guard helmet around 9 mins in. Thanks for y’all’s kind words. Was a lot of fun making the helmet and can’t wait for the next contest!

JangoNova

Backstory on the Ghost Rider @35:07 ... it crashed and broke into several pieces a week prior to competition submission. If it wasn't for the Discord community support, I probably wouldn't have finished it

Nick Banks

Mine was the 2in1 alpha legion helmet (with mini) @ 11:50! Glad Jamie was there to explain the concept lol

CML

Yoooo, nice video, really happy to see my batman custom in it

Augustin Mazet

Azure Forge
