[Updated Files!] The remastered Bo Katan Helmet comes to the November Specialist rewards!
Added 2023-11-02 16:55:32 +0000 UTCAs you guys know I'm always trying to improve our vast collection of files, this time it's the Bo Katan helmet! We remodeled it from the ground up to greatly improve the printability of the helmet. Here's the list of changes and updates:
- Fixed some drooping around the front of the dome
- Assembled versions of the helmet are now included
- Pre-separated more details for easier printing and assembly
- Added a mesh-supported version of the main body to help print the nose more consistently (we tested it out and it worked like a charm!)
- Added pre-cut parts for smaller printers.
- Added visor cutout template and ridge
The thing I'm most excited about is the pre-modeled support pattern under the nose. You'll need to clip them off during post processing but we found that modeling the supports into the nose directly helped print it off a lot cleaner than relying on supports or separating the nose and filling the gap.

I've been looking all over the web this morning trying to find the easiest way to paint these unique bits. Maybe it's a stretch, but also a template for the Sabine helmet would be helpful as well.
