[Remastered Files!] The Republic Commando Armor has been remastered and added to the November Specialist rewards!
Added 2023-11-16 15:48:14 +0000 UTCOne of our most popular kits has been remastered and added to this months rewards! As you guys know I love updating some of my older files with all I've learned over the years of modeling, printing, and cosplay. Included in the files are many of the improvements and features I've picked up along the way. There weren't any changes to the helmet but I went ahead and threw it in anyway!
Here's a list of some of the more drastic changes:
- Parts are thinned for comfort and ease of wear
- Forearms are thinned and expanded to easier slide your hand through
- The left hand plate now features the retractable sliding blade
- The calves have holes pre-modeled for 6mm x 3mm diameter magnets to snap the spoon closed
- The backpack has been re-modeled to be greatly hollowed to reduce weight, flat geometric faces that should make laying the files on the print bed easier, and its been split up into 24 parts for easier printing!
- Pre-cut parts for smaller printers have also been added
