[New Files!] The Fallout NCR Ranger helmet has been added to the May Specialist rewards!

This one has been a really fun one to make! With how good the Fallout show was it's got me in a little bit of a Fallout mood. In general I'm not a huge fan of the post-apocalyptic motif of most Fallout props but this one has always stood out to me! Now, let's talk a little about the helmet itself!

Default scaled to fit up to 24.5" circumference heads by default, this NCR Ranger helmet has been ideally split up and optimized for printing. The helmet comes pre-separated into 18 parts, with 3 different face variants. 2 of the face variants feature the pre-supported mesh inside the large ventilator on the cheek - be sure to clip these out with flush cutters post-print!

The large device on the right ear has been split up into 5 pieces. Each part includes a flat side for easier printing and the interior has been hollowed out to allow for electronics!

A visor cutout template has been added as well. You can use it to trace out the pattern to use for the eye lenses. You can also print out the lenses themselves using the modeled inserts.

All large parts include pre-cut parts for smaller printers. The files include an assembled version of e helmet, a version that's filled completely and solid for scale model printing, and a sizing slice at the head opening to test your scale before full printing of the helmet.

Bambu Studio project and GCODE files are also included to get started printing sooner!

Hope you all enjoy and have a nice weekend!

Comments

definitely take a look at the sizing slice before printing - the helldivers helmet as is fit my head perfectly - this one is MASSIVE. Probably because the mask and the helmet should technically be two different pieces, and mask might want to be strapped with leather instead of a solid piece. Still though, great looking build.
