A client approached the Bullseye detective agency. The detective in question is White Mist's partner, who passes on to the heroine the most complex tasks, which cannot be solved by legal means.
The client in question is the girlfriend of a budding superheroine named Shade, who disappeared on a mission.
"Our relationship is not public, as Shade does not want to risk my life if her identity is revealed. She was called by a technology company in the dead of night, asking for her help, claiming that they were having problems with one of their technologies. She told me about the company, but they don't know that anyone other than her knows about this issue. For them, she acts alone, so the disappearance of a little-known superhero doesn't attract attention. But I suspect they have something to do with it..."
"Okay" said the detective. "I'm going to track her steps, and investigate the company. If they know anything, or have anything to do with her disappearance, I'll find it. In the meantime, don't let anyone know of your connection to Shade."
