Of course, they will like each other, but if their bodies and mind are tired, they can't help it. I think there was definitely a scene where FT was exercising in the previous scene. Maybe he's trying to make up for the PC's disappointment by training his physical strength and health hard. I don't even know if PC likes FT more because PC has seen FT tries like that. So I reckon that PC is worried about FT(and poor PC, himself) without waking him up. I think it's really cool to train himself for his precious person or someone he likes. And when I see a picture of a person, I think I look at the expression of the person first. I think it's a good piece of work where the PC's expression of regret and FT's expression of having a happy dream feel really lovely.
