We’ll be going over my coloring process and the very self explanatory steps I take to achieve some of my basic coloring
Though, the outline isn’t our main focus, let’s time to break down what I was aiming for through the series.

The tool | Wave Form > Default brush ( abstract collection).
I want to maintain this instagram aesthetic thats the Bratz created for the girlies today. I used Pinterest as my source of poses to get the job done. It wouldn’t also be on brand of me if I didn’t maintain My sketchy, bold taper line work. It can some time come off very organic ( as mention in prior post) and relatable some how.

Next, Mapping and detail — Though I don’t necessarily take it this far or is my process done in this exact way… this is just one of the many ways I come at my art depending on the project or situation.
So, if I have time— I’ll find myself rendering in sections, instead of breaking thing down in larger steps (How I’ll sorta display during this segment). But for now this example will give some of you a new perspective of how to come at your process.
By doing this I have a chance to do every thing done in shorter steps:
Verses, me focusing on specific sections of the character. How ever once again— I tend to find myself doing a more section by section art process. In this case, Im just adding a simple detail that will help me later on, If I wanted to do some intense rendering.

So the tool of the month, that not only gives you jeans a simple details—-is Rectango < Default collection. This tool is so helpful will minor enhancement, p-jutting texture on you clouds, make minor details for dirt.

Adjust the size to your liking, while also adjusting the opacity if needed for the perfect effect. I tend to apply the effect ( just in case it wasn’t clear- I placed the base coat down, then opened a separate layer and then added the texture.

And as you can see— the green for the jacket also came into use, using the same rectango texture tool and adding the blue to our green base. Now I only really need to add a bit more details. Such as, filling in the eyes and color, basic but— really undetectable shading to give the look something special, and other minor details people dont notice.

And wah lah!!! I hate that I like her the most right now— even though, I My love for Meygan is instant when I‘m reintroduced to the image
So I hope this was a bit more helpful and insightful. If not feel free to leave a comment below.
