I am not publishing the video on Milosz
Added 2023-11-28 18:21:18 +0000 UTCAfter careful consideration and reading your critizisms I decided that i will not publish the video. I hope however that how i feel about this conflict came somewhat accross. Meaning, in times when people are dehumanised it is important to humanise others. My first instinct to not make a video on this conflict was probably correct.
Still. I have to say. I really enjoy reading your critiques and inputs. I learned a lot from you. I therefore think i will revive the Patreon discord server again to facilitate a better means of communication between us. Especially now that I am starting to feel somewhat better after a bad year.

Your brief discussion of Fukuyama’s End of History inspired me to read it and it influenced my thinking greatly! I just picked up Native Realm!

2023-11-29 02:47:26 +0000 UTCBy the way Kraut, I' ve read "The Captive Mind" by Czesław Miłosz and I really liked it. I should also inform you that our former Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Kotzias, who was a former Communist Party member and a strong supporter of Jaruzelski, when Miłosz won the Nobel Prize (one year after Elytis) he had the adacity to write that “[…] imperialism […] awarded the Nobel prize to Czeslaw Milosz, an unknown refugee, […] in order to support the counter-revolution.” (Quoted here:https://athensreviewofbooks.com/articles-in-english/3689-is-greek-democracy-in-danger).
