Thank you for bringing Dan Evans' book to my attention. His and Ben Studebaker's 'The Way is Shut' are two of the most clear-eyed perspectives on the state of Western democracy and class relations for the post-'long 2016' that I've come across. 'The End of the End of History' isn't bad either π
