Hello there!
Added 2024-01-07 15:11:25 +0000 UTCHello there and welcome to my Patreon. I deeply appreciate your support for my philosophical ranting and I hope to start posting here regularly. Please be patient while I figure out how to use Patreon properly as I am a nightmare when it comes to technology.

I wonder if i can post playlists on here... also how do sound people engineer sounds from one headphone earmuff to another. That fascinates me. Like i played kate bush's waking the witch or d mode just cant enough 12 inch. or any remastered audio. I made the dive into a pair of Yamaha headphones made for hooking up keyboards. Im married to them during the day. but too heavy at night. Cannot wear earpods. who wants ear infections that way? not me,wired all the way. I cannot go through a parietal lobe infection ever again! Prior to antibiotics "doctors" would have to drill a hole to drain a mastoid infection through to the bone! I mean like less than 100 yrs ago! it was that or maybe die of infection spreading through meninges. Talk about insane in the membrane!

2024-10-02 20:46:39 +0000 UTCI am devouring your videos on YouTube and figured it’s time to sign up here. I have a father who is 101 years old, a professor emeritus, and absolutely impossible to talk to. He insists on ranting on everything that he knows would be difficult or hurtful for me to hear. He is very, very big on philosophy (Ph.D. And all) and likes to regale me with his knowledge of all the ancient, it seems, philosophers, and how this knowledge should make me change my views to align with his. (I’m 67 for chrissakes.) (As a non sequiter, he was educated by Jesuits.) I have now sent him to your YouTube channel, hoping that some of what you have to say might sink in, if he’ll bother to listen long enough. As for me, any attempt I make to discuss anything with him is taken by him to be rude or critical or suggesting that he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. I think this is partly why I so enjoy these book synopses you do and your ability to apply the principles of philosophy to real life. It probably (maybe?) won’t help me talk to my father , but with luck, it will help me feel like less of an absurdist. Thanks for what you do. I hope I can upgrade more soon.

2024-08-10 18:51:22 +0000 UTChi there Joe. just come across your channel. excellent videos and very important subjects imo. I run a YouTube channel called socialexperimentalist (excuse the shoddy video quality) and I would really like to have a chat with you, preferably recorded (we will have to both agree if either of us want to post it) I am a 57 year old father of 3 and came across antinatalism 8 years ago and was immediately converted so to speak. I am also acutely aware about the plethora of pitfalls out there that could blind me to the truth. I have been seeking debunking of the philosophy ever since and found nothing even half convincing. Would you be up.for .discussion to help me see my blind spots if there are any?

2024-07-14 10:32:59 +0000 UTCAh thank you! I am certainly hoping to do some more on logic in the future. I would like to do a short set of videos on the basics of propositional and predicate logic, but I might just post them here

2024-01-10 09:05:30 +0000 UTCBest of luck Joe! Personally I don’t mind the thumbnails at all, but I understand that it would probably help promote the channel. Regarding the content: nothing to improve there from my point of view! If I could wish for a topic: after your video on AJ Ayer it would be logic :) Best wishes from Germany, Daniel
