Monthly Report: February 2020

Last month: February

February started out REALLY WELL but I've been feeling some burnout creeping up on me. Finished Sheila up and finally got her released, a lotta folks liked her a ton which is great. She was an interesting start to things, since she was was my first foray into trying out commissions. Took my second commission for Meteonyker featuring his dragon, but I've found it hard to find the concentration and motivation to work at it. Progress is very slow on the barbftr front. I occasionally poke at my older projects, Hiera and Anthro Komodo, but progress is equally slow there as well. I know I need to work on Sholstim more, too. x-x

But, I did get Helixftr off the ground, which is nice. The animations are all in place and ready to rock, although I need to go give it a new coat of paint and make it more... Helixftry, rather than Barbftry. Right now it's still using the same exact UI- I'll fix that in time. Started work on one of the first Helixftr enemies, the guest character Regena who's owned by Geno/Geckonori. I also spiffed Liz up, and she'll be joining the Helixftr roster, eventually.

Speaking of, if you've been out of the loop, Helixftr is a thing now. Helix has been redesigned (seen above) and is more spunky and ready to get bopped than ever before.

THIS MONTH: MARCH

So coming up, I'm intended to finish Meteo within a week or two and have his character released hopefully by the 14th or 15th- after that I'm going to take a break from commissions and try to devote some time to personal projects, probably mostly Helixftr.

Considering we fixed some lag issues, I may go back to Sholstim as well- even if I can't really think of anything particularly fun with him, he still deserves to get finished up.  It's really hard to say. I'm hoping that with warmer weather comes more energy to actually work on things. Right now I'm feelin' pretty down.

WHAT'S COMING UP:

-Dragon Meteo for Barbftr (By the 15th)

-Helixftr UI Improvements

-Sholstim (By end of the month)

-Hiera (Unfinished but probably released to the public because honestly she's pretty great, by end of the month or whenever it happens)

-Helixftr characters? (Next month honestly we'll see how the wind blows)

I don't think I'm missing anything else so, we'll see how things go!
