It's a known fact that one of the most dangerous animals in Africa is the cape buffalo. One ton of pure muscle and mad coming at you full speed? Two words: No thanks.

A couple little facts about the buffalo when they're threatened: They will circle back on threats, and it's been reported that wounded buffalo will continue to fight back - even ambushing whatever tried to hurt them or their herdmates. They are relentless to threats, especially when calves are present, and don't give up until they try to trample or gore the threat to death, or until the it runs far enough away - as long as the buffalo doesn't chase after it, which they might.
