Saka Sefu - OC Evolution #2

The Patreon Pride has spoken (see attached poll results image)! Saka is in the spotlight this time!

What is OC Evolution? Basically, I'll grab some old versions of art/designs from an OC of mine (the older the better) and put them for comparison with the newest version/drawing of them that I've done.

Who is Saka? The second entry in this series is Saka. Aka "Saka Sefu" aka "Hammerhead". He was originally designed by me in July 2007. He appears in my story Lord of the Plain but does so as...kind of a weird afterthought. I didn't know how else to use him and I was kinda desperate back then to have ALL my OC's in one world. He kinda worked for a villain role, but I had to water him down from what I really thought he could be as a character for sake of the story. That and my writing voice wasn't the best back then. LOL

Saka's been through some changes over the years. His species has changed a couple times. And he's had an identity/personality adjustment. Most notably, he's been through a big update in design and style since he's found his new permanent home in my comic strip Fossil Fuel (which will be making a comeback to Patreon in the super near future!). But a few things about him that have remained more or less the same are his color scheme, his toothy smile, and his hat. Or at least the fact he has a hat.

His original backstory involved him being a professional bounty hunter and thug. Now, his backstory is a little more of a mystery that will be slowly uncovered as Fossil Fuel goes on.

I hope you enjoyed a little dive into Saka's history and a collection of some old/new art. ^^ I'll be posting a new poll for you guys to choose my next OC Evolution spotlight! ;)
