Added 2021-06-16 19:13:38 +0000 UTCI know this chapter isn't going to play out the way some people expect. I've never been a fan of boring, predictable conclusions to conflicts. Sometimes these sorts of endings make people angry, but I think people will be satisfied.
Of course, this isn't the end. There's a Part 8 and Part 9 (and possibly Part 10) to write. And there's still plenty of Part 7 left actually. Probably my favorite part to write, the 'falling action'. I won't slam the readers with a mountain of sex scenes (this time), but expect a few at least.

If the ritual had succeeded, things would have gone differently. But Sándor being freed and his quick return to the dream ruined everything.

2021-06-20 20:58:11 +0000 UTCIt’s a moot point but I don’t see how Angela would have been able to kill Jack after Jeremiah finished the ritual. Knowing that the soul ritual was the end goal of the plan makes his phrase “I will be Azamel's death” clearer but “Angela will be yours” unclear. Was an Angela/Jack soul ritual going to happen next?

2021-06-18 01:47:46 +0000 UTCSo, I may have missed it, but has there been speculation about Elaine? My gut is telling me that she very well could be Viktor's sire. Tall, blonde, busty. I'm at alike an 80% certainty at this point, given that she wants to talk to Annie about Viktor, and she's intrigued by the curse. Susanna herself could have told her about the curse and what the Sanctified did to seal it away. Maybe in her role as Architect of Terror, she's been looking for a way to break it, and all unsuccessfully.
