2020-03-05 02:01:21 +0000 UTCI like to think that someone like Gabriel has noticed, and he’s just like, “Oh, come on!” I saw a post on Tumblr that pointed out even though we empathize with Aziraphale, he is objectively a terrible employee (because he won’t be terrible like they want him to be) and Gabriel must be so frustrated with him. So I like to think in this universe Gabriel is super-frustrated because his Principality won’t do his job because he’s always too busy taking that demon to Pound Town and he can’t fire him without God’s approval, but God won’t answer his emails (because She ships it and sits back watching this thinking, “Good for them”).

They carved a king’s accomplishments onto a tablet that was buried with the foundation so that when a building ultimately fell people could see who it was that built it and what they did.
