I'm gonna pretend he's in bed because he's exhausted (he bought them some time - I just can't abide thinking his wings are injured or something 😭).

So while in withdraw he trashes and says horrible things to Crowley, but when he's "sober" he became ashamed and regrets everything. 2) Ambushed by rouge angels/demons and got badly/fatally injured, to the point he's probably not going to make it and he's sorry because he thinks he'll leave Crowley completely alone forever! 3) Continuation of Crowley POV, they're making love but Aziraphale has a panic attack because of a flashback of when the Archangel Fucking Gabriel physically abused him during the past 6 millennia.

Little does he know, Crowley is not doing it for pity or friendship, but because he has been wanting the angel since Eden ❤️ They’ve either just done it or are about to do it for the first time. Of course, explanations and declarations of mutual love will follow, but right now Aziraphale is riddled with guilt (and lust)

2020-07-24 02:14:31 +0000 UTCMmmm since he's laying in bed and covered up, turning toward Crowley as best he can without moving very much, it makes me think maybe he's very ill. It would also explain why he isn't wearing a shirt; too sweaty and hot, and Crowley made him take it off to try to cool down. (my mom would do this, sorta, if I had a fever. It was either I could wear long pajama pants and have no blankets, or I could have a light sheet but I could only wear my underwear and a top). So part of me thinks that's why Aziraphale looks the way he does. In regards to his apology and the tight expression on Crowley's face, I'm gonna guess he did something to sort of prove how sick he is. Like he either vomited off the side of the bed, or he had a severe coughing fit and couldn't catch his breath. And now that he's done, he's apologizing for either worrying Crowley or making a mess (or both), and Crowley is just very concerned for his angel and trying to reassure him that being sick isn't his fault

Fire, brimstone, the rack. His time in hell was relatively short, since he'd spent most of his time on Earth with Aziraphale. But when he was down there..? He shuddered to think. He had never told Aziraphale about it. There was no need. But one night the angel managed to work up to ask about the only scar Crowley had, a remnant of his early time in hell. He had whispered what had happened, afraid that if he spoke too loud it would change things, which was ridiculous, the scar was thousands of years old. Aziraphale stared wide eyed at him, "Crowley-" He whispered, and Crowley realized he was crying. Fuck. "I-I'm so sorry." "Oh, angel." Crowley frowned a little bit his heart aching slightly, this is why he hadn't wanted to tell Aziraphale, "It's not your fault."

Crowley's wings have since replaced all the branded feathers, but sometimes Aziraphale can smell the sulfur in his sleep (maybe from Crowley's blood?) and gets flashbacks
