Explanations for those who are interested!
Tova (a barbarian) rolled highest initiative and started to rage while holding Aroe because he had been riding on her shoulders and she didn’t want to waste a movement to set him down.
The large orc enemy kept referring to Cal as “spicy” because he used an exploding acid attack. Hence: Jalapeño Cal
And Cimmarrion was casting spells, but the enemies kept running out of the spell perimeter (the box).

I started playing D&D for the first time via Zoom with friends just this year and wow, now I totally understand all of that lingo you posted. My nerdom keeps expanding, I love it.

I played a sorcerer with 8 dex who kept botching climb checks so by the time I got to the main fight, I'd lost half my hp to nonlethal fall damage. But it's ok because our ranger scaled a wall and was sniping orcs with javelins (and rocks...?)
