It's happened here as well... and every time I try to tell myself "well this is the way it is.... this is the way of life, we all need to feed....." only to reply to myself "well, 'life' can have its way away from my front door thank you very much" Never promised reasonable.... emotional and softharted human me..... Still.... you made a beautiful piece of art in memory of this little beautiful soul <3 I know I will keep this piece of art for a long time.

2020-12-20 18:50:37 +0000 UTCI’m so sorry! I know how upsetting this must be. Last week a young hawk sat quietly on a low branch (unusual) in our front yard. It flew away eventually but the next morning there were an amazing number of the white down feathers from one of the morning doves. Nature is harsh. ✨💜✨
