When you love someone as much as Song loves Mansa you want the best for them, and he doesn’t want to ruin the life of the man he loves, even if it tears him apart to think about losing him. I feel the same things in my own life. I hate social prejudices so much. Why can’t people just understand what love is?

Perhaps at the event where he wore the fancy dress and Mansa told him he’d be the envy of all the courtesans?) I confess I have also had concerns remembering he’s a PC in an RPG, wondering what might have happened to make him join up with an adventuring party... but IDK if that has any bearing on this story? I love them so much and I hope Mansa can reassure him, but regardless I can’t wait for the next installment. I unexpectedly woke up at 5 this morning and the first thing I did (once I realized there was no getting back to sleep) was to reach for my phone and see if there was a new panel yet!
