Those scars on Song's back - they are messy but parallel - looks like they either were made by a pair of infernal horns or claws? The cuts must have been very deep since they apparently run all the way from his back, around the side of his ribs and to the left side of his front - as we saw in the picture where Song came asking for help. He must have had a fight - or been attacked and attempted assasinated - by another infernal being? The scars don't look too fresh though, so I assume that after Mansa helped patching him up, it still took some time before they ended up in bed together? Is my theory too far fetched, or could it be something like this? Also, when you said it was love at first fight - didn't they have a fight (argument) the first time Song tried to chat up Mansa, because Mansa was upset for something else?... and still he regretted his refusal enough to come see Song again to make it well again? Maybe that means that he secretly was attracted to Song already then? :D I'd love to hear if their story is something like this? (just trying to tie the loose ends you are giving us) :D

I love them, I adore their backstory and I echo everyone else in wanting to hear as much more of it as you'd like to share!! Especially the necklace - did he take it off and give it to Mansa? Did Mansa pull it off? So much room for hypotheses, you've definitely thrown chum in these Mansong-fan-infested waters for sure! (And the scars - I wonder if Song's injuries were inflicted by another infernal? Maybe an entity like the one in the sketch if that one wasn't Song? And is the voice in his head something that got into him when he was injured?) Also - I really really love the anatomy in this. on the obvious level yes of course, ha, but Song's bent leg, and his foot! And Mansa's foot! The angles are so good, and the lighting, just perfect.
