And I feel like Mansa saying this half-asleep and almost subconsciously means that Song might be more accepting of it as a genuine feeling, since he canโt tell himself Mansa is saying it just to be nice to him. From some of the other info weโve been given, Song doesnโt really believe he has value to Mansa outside the bedroom (his confidence in the nsfw comics are a huge contrast to his anxiety in most of the other situations weโve seen them in) and I think Mansa needing him like this is as much or more reassuring to him than anything Mansa could consciously tell him. I love this, they are so sweet, these two precious babies! โค๏ธ

But that automatic "I love you" from a sleepy Mansa is also so pure and genuine. In fact, this panel, I feel, is sort of a small peek into their current relationship dynamics, and I'm so excited to see the trajectory once they've realised certain things about their own needs and how else to thrive in their relationship. This is just a long winded way of saying this is making me feel all kinds of soft ๐ฅบ
