People can excel politically regardless of gender, but infernals have a little bit of a difficult time in the political world

Some questions that are now bubbling up as we are seeing more people: Is clothing gendered? ie most male-identified beings wear historically male-gendered clothing? I love that Song mostly dresses in historically feminine clothing but curious if that's common, or uncommon but just socially acceptable? Is this society also generally Georgian/Regency in attitude about what is socially acceptable for male vs female-identified beings to do as vocations? Ex: politicians/judges typically male-identified? Are courtesans typically female-identified, or feminine presenting? Is there more wiggle room for those male assigned at birth? ie: Song can be a courtesan, but someone female-assigned at birth, even if male-identified could not cross society's assignation to become a judge? So many questions!!!! 😊

2021-05-01 13:11:26 +0000 UTCDefinitely just a family trait, it pops up occasionally! It is a democracy, but candidates must be judges before they can run for office. So becoming a judge is sort of like being a part of congress. The immigrant analogy is close, but they have been living in the same cities for hundreds of years now, so while people can be standoffish about infernals it isn’t incredibly common to be completely prejudice. That really comes from people who are looking for a reason to hate. And I actually don’t have a name just yet!

Are infernals treated like immigrants? Even with family lines that have longer roots in the country then a family like Mansa’s. What is the country called? Ahh! Historian me taking over! (Also, again if you need help with Georgian/Regency period history let me know :D )
