Also, something I noticed back in the breakup comic and am seeing again here- you seem to be playing around quite a bit with light and shadow and the way they both lay across a face, an expression, and the way you can show internal conflict by having different emotions divided by the shadows. I have no idea if I articulated that well lol; basically there have been several panels of pivotal moments where if you cover either the shadowed or bright half of their face you get two very different emotions and itβs BRILLIANT and I am endlessly in awe of the way you tell stories.

In this picture he looks like he's gotten a punch to the face - with a black eye that is closing his eye shut. When he arrived at Mansa's door, he also looked like he was getting a black eye... but in these panels inbetween, his eye looks ok. Am I just imagining things?
