What Song is doing is squatting and rolling the scythe down his thighs, which creates a burst of light when it comes close to the ground. You can check it out here if you want to know more! (Grace Good is one of my favorite fire dancers and so much of what Song does and will do with his scythe is inspired by her ๐)
