This is the problem with writing things out of order, I decided to make some changes to The Proposal so that they are actually living together in this house when Mansa proposes instead of Mansa paying for a townhouse for Song. So I’ll be making some edits and all that soon, but I’ll let you know!
As many of you know it was never my intention to post these vignettes outside of the main story (they’re supposed to be flashbacks, but I got such a positive response that I just kept going!) I’m also doing my best to only work on them chronologically since that kind of makes sense now that people are actually following the story 😅. So the order if you’re curious is: “A Toast” (not yet written) “Prior Occupation” (not yet written) “Patch Job”, “The Courtesan”, “Blood”, “For Profit”, “Bill 58” (not yet written), “Past Lives” (not yet written) and then “The Proposal”. So I’ve got 4 left! I’ll do Bill 58, then Past Lives, and then I’ll circle back to their first meeting!

So yes the proposal is the last story before the main comic

He IS in need of comfort right now and is allowed to feel a bit selfish because of it. Do they have rules about asking permission and such or are these situations sort of exempt (precisely because they are random and unexpected?)
