Meet River!
Added 2021-07-26 01:18:15 +0000 UTCThis is River, I haven’t introduced them just yet because they don’t have a role until the main comic. They’re between 10 and 13 in the comic (I haven’t decided yet), so in the prequels I’ve been drawing they would have been too little to do much of anything 😅
Song immediately bonds with River like an older sibling or young parent might, especially since River’s best friend is a celestial scholar named Jessi. Needless to say Song and Mansa are both very protective over the two! They aren’t hugely essential to the plot but they do kick things off in a major way! If you have River questions drop them below!

River has some high up parents and Jessi does too, so the two met at a function with their parents. The parents were of course there to talk about building bridges (with no real plans to) and much to their dismay the kids hit it off!
